Some MONSTER late trades reporter from yesterday! 400k buy at 8.33am @ 67p, have checked the prices others were paying around then on Pumped or Dumped and it was 63/64. So someone bought £268k at the top. Have a distinct feeling this is heading for £1 + very soon!

Now we find out that AZN have renewed a collaboration with Tom Wilkinson’s group of Southampton based scientists

The scientists referenced in the NHS Southampton article appear to be Synairgen as the journal referenced is directly related to SNG-001 and it’s in vitro modelling?!

Why the hell hasn’t that been RNS’d?! Utterly bizarre as it’s clearly price sensitive information!

It’s super strong & volume is what we ultimately need to get rid of the undoubted seller - once they are gone I suspect we’ll see a real sustained rise beyond 70p. Hopefully get another 10m volume day.

There was heavy intraday buying on Friday between 46-48p, so there isn’t really a gap as such, and I believe the close at 49p today will be sufficient. The late afternoon drop was a classic exercise in testing the minerals of the morning buyers who purchased from 60p upwards. I don’t see demand slowing over the next few weeks & IMO we’ll exceed 70p before the end of the week.

FARN sitting at £200m market cap, madness that SNG is a third of the value!

54p is over 20% below the day high so a good entry point IMO. Plenty of profit takers gone. Watching the proactive video and hearing the word ‘blockbuster’ combined with a £60m market cap is just unreal, the risk reward here looks sensational!

What’s the benefit in closing markets? I keep hearing this suggestion but don’t see the point, it would lock in trillions of pounds & the carnage on reopen would be horrific.

@Wiser, the whole point in EUA FDA approval is that it’s issued quickly and avoids the necessity for 6 month plus wait that comes with a full application. It means that test is approved for the duration of the virus & is exactly what NCYT applied for (you would know this if you had read any of their RNS’s since 31st January!)

It’s fantastic news which will be reflected in the share price tomorrow, exactly where is opens is TBC, but the previous high was £2.20 on anticipation of FDA approval, so I’d think this will be used a guide by the market makers on where to open. We’ll know shortly!

@Floydymagic, IMO the smart play is to own shares in both NCYT & SNG, they are both fantastic companies at the forefront of the fight to beat Covid-19, no need to play one off against the other or be all in with one or the other. Quit cross ramping!

Amazing news - also in my cynical opinion it explains why the MM’s held the price on Friday as they didn’t want many PI’s to buy ahead of the weekend news & Monday gap up (cynically I believe MM’s always have an inside line ahead of the public on things like this!).

Think this revisits £1.70 minimum on. Monday open, possibly much higher with the £5m in weekly sales + FDA EUA, it’s time for the next leg up.

Just wait for the idiot Midas to come and try and play this down, you got your just deserts you goon!

Nobody can argue with that sales increase, wow! Expect a strong close & serious gap up on Monday morning!

MassiveRay, I’m guessing you’ve done no research on SNG and are jealous that this is rising as NCYT is falling? The potential here is 100 x that of NCYT, if SNG001 works then you wouldn’t even need to worry about testing! Do some research and you’ll see the light IMO

Current market cap is £42m, Finncap state a conservative valuation of $1b if the trial is successful (could be worth many time this).

$1b is currently worth approx £850m, so our current market cap of £42m / £850m is just 5% of this. Huge upside & fantastic risk reward.

We know SNG001 has already shown promise and is well tolerated, so chance of success should be at least 20% IMO.

£850 * 0.2 = £170m market cap pre trial target = £1.54 initial target.

Unreal value down here!

Alwaysone, don’t use Google to judge closing prices. Advfn is your best bet with LSE still broken. Google will show the price of the last REPORTED trade, in today’s case this was clearly delayed from much earlier in the day. It closed at 32 - 32.4, it will likely open substantially higher giving the buying into close.

Tomorrow will be very interesting with the potential of an RNS on Monday AM confirming the start of the trial.

Down dip? That was the spread narrowing, the bid never made it past 32, ask rose to 34 to quell the buying and then dropped back to 32.4. Same pattern from 10am onwards

Hope the idiots selling at 30p get locked out by a quick rise to 35p. Clearly they have no idea what they have bought!

@themuir, what are your thoughts on the Fincapp comments regarding a $1b+ valuation upon success? You do realise that would be £8+ per share? Woodford is completely irrelevant here vs the human & financial benefit that success would deliver!
