If you can find a buyer there is no problem selling if a share is suspended ! The average pi 's holding is relatively small and insignificant but there are also a few companies who will buy large amounts of shares at a discount during suspension - basically taking a gamble....
However, there's a catch. Because there is no exchange for such shares, the price is arrived at by the buyer companies and is usually 40-50 per cent less .
In this case this may have been something that both parties had been looking at prior to suspension and had formulated a price or a more recent transaction so may have been bought at a hefty discount.
