As you say they are probably cutting their losses...money tied up for the last couple of months and the odd broker listing this as risky ! Selling now would indicate that they perhaps believe that this is going to drop further prior to any news! I am going to average down in the morning with a modest sum which means that this will probably drop like a stone :-) The lack of news is the major factor and somewhat puzzling... it wouldn't take much to keep pi's on board...

Pity they hadn't shown a little more faith in Phc and bought again in the 40's! That would have lowered their average.. for an investment company they sure are slow off the mark...

Ticking along nicely. Qrm with an alleged 2 million in cash should have bought again in the 40's if they had any faith.

I posted on Tuesday that i thought Fto had reached another of its many peaks and it was maybe time to sell before buying again on the cheap... hindsight, hindsight !!! If i had sold it would have continued its rise...

Good morning....first major news will ultimately decided where the sp goes...i like the relatively small number of shares and the cash in the bank. Will give it a few months and see what happens ! Good luck with your other investments...

Thats confidence in the product. Give this a few months and when the contracts eventually get announced we should be on our way..

No need for an office..Merely an investment company now with two assets ! Some cash in the bank and a small holding in Wsg and Phc.. the rise must be due to the fact that Phc is recovering in value although its wiped out by the spread ! Heading back to its Oct 13 level which is good to see..

i agree with your 1705 post yesterday. I am a buy and hold type but there are those that seem to be able to read this share and sell on the highs. I have a feeling this was one of them..

Its human nature but most brokers seem to have an angle and affiliations, not to mention a brass neck.....to be taken with a pinch of salt. Its a lot easier to play with other peoples money ! If the kids only knew the experimenting i have done with their inheritance :-)

Admittedly i am in at a lower average than you but checking my account i have made almost 20% on my investment in divi's alone over the last 3 years. Beats the savings account..

But its great to see the sp continue to rise... slow and steady...

Have a look at the dividends over the years you have been holding this and hopefully it will make your holding look a little more attractive. You must have been here for years. This is in recovery but as rightly pointed out by others we must expect a few dips in the coming months and years. Personally, I am holding long term reinvesting the divi's and can see another 10% on the share price before year end. I don't believe we will ever visit the lows of the past years. For what its worth Panmure has upped its guess to 540p.

The market is acknowledging that Aviva has turned the corner. Both Aviva and the markets agree that there is still room for improvement which can only be a good thing for the future. As Av. manages these milestones the sp will firm up and improve further. The cash in the coffers and the increase in the divi is a testament to the management..
