Is it a bargain? The failure to sell the Canadian asset puts the company's viability at risk. On 30/6/22 there was £600k cash and admin is c£500k per 6 months. Must now be very low.
The asset sale at a much higher price than the current market cap would have been well timed. Now the purchaser has pulled out what happens next? The BOD are very quiet. Never a good sign IMHO

the YE TU was late March in 2021 , although this was heavily covid impacted, so based on that anytime between early Feb and late March! Hopefully they will have good news and will want to get it out ASAP.

price has ticked up the last week or so - hopefully in preparation of decent YE results. Assuming YE numbers are hit even £1 a share looks very cheap

On their website the list of shareholders is below - last update Nov 2022, although i think this only needs updating once every 6 months. BTW there are 1,951l shares in total.

Almost not worth listening to CEO interviews anymore. He is always so bullish and positive yet as these are paid for interviews avoids any hard questions or reasons why the SP has tanked almost 90% under his watch.
When he talks about how optimistic he is for the future of STX please remember he was given 1m options at 1.5p in June 2022. He didn't take up these options until late 2022 after the funding was completed and also agreed a part sell to finance the tax payment relating to these shares. Could he not pay the smallish tax bill out of his £500k plus salary?
Actions speak louder than words.

poker - a warrant is very different from buying in a placing. If you buy shares you commit money upfront and the shares value can go up or down. With a warrant you can buy at a set price but are not obliged to do so. Therefore, a warrant holder can wait for the price to increase and then take up the warrants thus generating an immediate profit. There is no downside risk.
Therefore, if you give out warrants at the same price as shares IMHO the sensible thing to do is sell the shares immediately to at least breakeven and eliminate any downside risk and then use warrants only if the price increases.

so we now have a placing at 0.15p, less than a year after a 1.25p one which was only 1 year after 4p.

Re-pricing previous warranties to 0.15p is another kick in the teeth.

The BOD need to get this moving now - GDM and Athlos look great, but they seem clueless as to how to make this company profitable

good points. Another to add is potentially BOD feel this is their 'baby' and refuse/out price any potentially tie ups/JV as they feel the price is never enough.
CEO needs to be realistic here as the market opportunity is massive. 50% of a large pie is better than 100% of a larger one that is constantly diminishing one (due to placings etc)

It does feel like they have felt forced to issue something without really giving any details.

Cash is as it was - we know we have enough for the next year, not for 24 months, so no change there.
Clearly buying this technology isn't a quick decision and can take months to be completed e.g. hospitals may need to wait until the next budget round etc and it makes sense to focus on those hospitals where a relationship is already established. However, i think 100 specialist hospitals have been identified based on previous presentations - surely they have approached all 100 by now, else what have they been doing over the last 2 years?

However, what about other geographical areas? CEO has had ages to start these discussions - surely a commercial partnership makes sense here as POLX are too small to sale globally.
Even in the US i think POLX are too small to go it alone - a JV with a larger player seems a sensible way forward IMHO.

we had a trading update on 25/1 so i think that will be it until late March - excerpt attached below. I note that BOD emphasised the importance of the next couple of months, so by late March we will know what the full year (YE 30/6/23) is looking like.

Given the strength of the pipeline and historic H2 weighting, whilst recognising the importance of the next two key trading months ahead, the Board is cautiously optimistic for the trading outlook for FY2023

eEnergy expects to report its interim results during the week commencing 27 March 2023.

TR1 arrived on 10/1 think he is out now. He has changed his investment strategy.
Now SP might get back to £1. Company is valued at not much more than £1m and revenues for 2022 should be over £5m.

nice little bounce the last few days, as has been mentioned the drop from mid 7p to 5p appears overdone.
Still only valued at £16m - what we paid for Peach Pubs less than 6 months ago.
Would like to see 10p here ASAP and then a steady rise back to 20p placing price.
CIty centres at the weekend are still very lively and that's when RBG makes its money.

it's good to see some positivity here, however, a few caveats.

1. Viatris salespeople don't come onboard until Q2 2023 so Q1 may not be fantastic numbers.
2. H1 to H2 increase is encouraging but cashburn in H2 has been high so it appears knowing a fundraising was required they've up the marketing spend to get the highest numbers they possibly could.
3. Fully funded to cash positive late 2024 - fantastic if true, but in mid 2021 they said we'd be in this position in 15 to 18 months. Clearly that was a load of cr ap.

So whilst today is a good day, i'm not getting too excited (yet!)

i don't like defending this BOD, however, unless it is small i can't see any M&A activity until the govt dispute is resolved. Worse case is that much of the cash we have is required if we lost.
Whilst i can reasonably confident the outcome will be positive nothing is guaranteed.
Although the court date is not scheduled for over a year, now we have a date hopefully meaningful discussions and/or mediation can commence. I doubt this will go through the courts.

a couple of years ago at a presentation CF said this would be eventually sold off. In the Q & A i asked if there had been any interest and he said he couldn't say but pointed to the ICON logo which was listed on the slide behind him adn smiled.

i'm struggling to buy any quantity at 6.70 so a move up appears imminent.

Nightcap is also having a bit of a bounce. It is half the size of RBG but valued higher.

just musing, but the UK has 2 massive pharma companies, one of which GSK has been lagging behind AZN for a number of years as it has struggled to get new products approved.
It is still valued at over £60bn and has a big focus on RSVs. It could swallow HVO up for peanuts.

Could do with the CEO John Clarke coming out of hiding.
The cashburn is still too high and i suspect that this year being our 1st profitable one may slip.
The last few RNSs have the chairman not the CEO commenting which is a little worrying.
I suspect back in March 2022 they thought they could use the newly issued warrants to keep the cashflow ticking over, however, we are c65% below the exercise price now so no chance of these being cashed in.
Athlos and GDM are great businesses and the Saudi tie up looks encouraging, however, the silence is deafening!

also regarding your 34p purchase - the part owner CF purchased a load at 26.5p so he must know what is coming. I would average down a bit but if this is taken out it will be north of 30p.
