as they guided £5.5m if it wasn't hit the market would need to be informed, although up to 10% leeway seems to be the norm. So a minimum of £5m must be a given IMHO.
I suspect the train strikes will have had an impact but not sure what % of business this represents. The shopping centre pop ups seems to be the main revenue generator.
For me i want to see cashflow positive for H2 as this is key for a small company.
If there is any suggestion that extra funding is required it could be painful.
I do think this is massively undervalued but the BOD need to show that it can create a small profit and are cash generative.

My concern is the wording of the last paragraph of today's RNS - see below. If the beds were reserved why were they not included in the order book and why is there no impact on 2023 guidance - either positive or negative?

"The Vaxart challenge study was not included in the Company's order book and its postponement will have no impact on hVIVO's 2023 financial guidance".

pretty sure reading both the 30/6/22 and today's RNS the CS contract was discussed but never finalised. Therefore, essentially there is nothing to cancel. As Mo states it was never included in the 2023 figures (but i assume was in the pipeline figure that Mo did mention in the last presentation).
So my understanding is there is no reservation fee, but HVO get a new omicron challenge study paid for by Vaxart which can now be offered to other clients.

that's a good price - anything under 20p will be well rewarded in the coming months. Topped up at 19p and 17.5p this week, but did sell a few at 22p a few weeks back as suspected we would get a small pullback after a great run

I'd say 1p so £6.7m distributed in total. Expect a special divi rather than a standard one (or at best a combination of the two).

yes, essentially we have received £2.52 m and need to pay back £3.208m back 18 months later.
This is expensive and has clearly damaged the SP - the issue price of the bond is irrelevant IMHO, its the interest rate that is the killer. As the SP has halved since then clearly the market was not impressed either.
As cash is c£1m at YE it appears this money was needed urgently.
Hopefully it is a one off and both the revenues and cash can continue growing from here.
As for the comment that it's better than a placing - well they have also handed out 42m warrants at 6p so if exercised that is a placing.
Results will be issued before the end of the month - H2 is usually the strongest period so hopefully the £30m revenue target will be surpassed.

it's been said before but we really need some BOD buys ASAP. It's pretty obvious from the presentation that there is no price sensitive info being withheld ATM so there are no excuses. The BOD bought in at the last 60p placing and many also bought more at c50p after the initial FDA delay. CEO bought c£75k worth then, he could spend £30k on 100,000 shares now which surely is a no brainer.
This would at least boost sentiment

a PE of 25 does seem high. Would expect 15 to 20 tops IMHO

noticed Paul Scott mentioned this on Vox recently. Says it's very cheap and worth c20p, although not without risk.

i think 2023 success/failure will be very H2 focused.
CEO confirmed 100 salespeople (50 us and 50 viatris) will not be in place until end of April so can't see them making a big impact in 2 months (to 30/6). As stated there are currently 19 vacancies on the STX website.
So if we publish Q1 and Q2 prescriptions i'm only expecting modest increases. H2 will really need to blow the doors off though if YE numbers are to be met.

good to see revenues significantly increase, albeit from a low base.

For me the cashburn is key.
In H1 2022 there was c$2.2m cash after burning c$2.4m in the 6 months.
Now, 6 month later, we have $2.6m but raised c$2m in the period.

So cashburn in last 6 months is reduced to c$1.5m. A big improvement but still too high.
With more staff being taken on the cost base is only going one way.

It will be interesting to see the cash figure on 30/6/23. Anything above $2m would be fantastic, c$1.5m would be ok, less than $1m would spell trouble IMHO.

well they were partly correct - food inflation is now over 17%

whilst i agree there is much SP upside from these low prices, for completeness they didn't raise at 6p. They did issue warrants at 6p, but the financing was done with debt. This did not go down well with the market, hence the recent SP fall.
However, i do think the 6p is a good guide as to the short term target for EAAS.

40p would give an overall valuation of c£6m. That seems ridiculously low.
Currently we are profitable, have c£3m in the bank and the security business is potentially being sold for maybe £5m .

A completely different company but IMMO recently sold its main business (location headsets in zoos etc) for more than the value of the whole company due to the low SP. The shares rose c50% in a day.
Vigilant has won some new contracts recently, which is not reflected in the SP, so the sale price, if agreed, could surprise a few.

i saw that and thought surely Ncyt should be in this space.

Hopefully news soon, however, i'm not holding my breath
