Either SDX are no longer considering buying something or they are going to try to fund an acquisition by other means. With their predicted future cash flow and cash balance they could probably get debt now on reasonable terms.

That logic doesn't really work, because what caused the gap up in the share price in Canada? It gapped up of it's own accord (obviously due to various unknown reasons, but certainly not because of a price rise in the UK).

It depends on the open price. It opened up at 70p which was much higher than the previous trading day's high, which leaves a gap on the daily chart. I am not really sure what makes them open up like that, pre-market open orders, MM skullduggery. I can't say.

Tweedle, I think you will eat those words in the coming weeks months. I think SDX are going to buy something. The fact that you think that there is no need for organic growth is irrelevant. If the company decides they want something they want something and they will try to buy it. What sort of nonsense is this? Completely baseless. Despite the gap and my expectation we'll have to close it, I am not going to get cute and try to sell now and buy back in to gain some more shares. This is just too volatile and to be honest, greedy. Get greedy and get ready to suffer for it. It looks like it might be starting to pull back now. Canada will also have to close the gap too as the same thing happened there last night. It will probably end up being a frustrating few days.

In order to close the gap we have to see trades back down at 64.50. Hopefully it won't close but it is a large gap-up. I think it's pretty much guaranteed we'll revisit 64.50p. SDX really is starting to motor now though. They are just hitting the ball out of the park consistent regularity. The exploration potential they have in Egypt and Morocco is now very high after all the drilling successes.

New all time high just on open, 71p. Gapped-up though as it did in Canada. So we may well pay a visit to the last closing price, not necessarily today but at some point in the future. Still, that should provide a floor. Everything is going in the right direction, just be prepared to come back down again for a time.

It was from yesterday and judging by the spread at the time I would say that it was a buy. The trade below shows the spread at the time the trade was published (today where the spread was 66-67p) so the automated system records it as a sell. I didn't realise you could filter people on here. That said I tend not to filter people, no matter how ridiculous things get. People can always have something useful to say... eventually. With Aim, it may well never happen. But pigs might fly and all that.
