There's a lot of information in their latest note. Haven't yet read through it.

Southmead, SDX aren't going to be producing 100mmscf/d from SD. The company are going with 55-65mmscf/d. Maybe they'll upgrade that if SD-4X flows well and SD-5X (if they drill it) comes in good too.

Will any of it move the price though? Kelvin 'seemed' to be the reason this fell back and the momentum was killed but I am not so sure if it had come in good that the share price would be any higher.

I personally think SDX has a bit further to fall technically speaking so maybe UKOG will over take again in the coming days. The opportunity cost of holding SDX is quite high. That said not a whole lot that is actual decent is moving up either.

Supposedly another massive gas find by ENI to be announced. Not sure how this affects SDX. Commercialisation of the gas find if confirmed would be some way off in to the future.

This new guy's been through a few M&A's during his time. Maybe he'll help SDX buy some more cheap assets if any are available or maybe he'll help SDX get bought out for a juicy premium. We can but hope.

Very large drop. I guess the market wanted that big lump of rare earths. Given what Rainbow have found there will likely be a large amount of capital required to get it in to production and also an upgraded mill or an entirely new mill. Still, if Rainbow can start to generate a profit from what they've got going on now they'll be in good shape to fund further exploration and scoping and feasability studies and of course the up-coming JORC. Long term investment ahoy. This probably isn't going anywhere fast (apart from down maybe lol).

I wouldn't be so sure of that. We'll have to wait and see though. Results are good but not stellar and the UK investor is as fickle as they come and easily manipulated.

Since the start of June both prices are up about 5%. Hopefully the start of another sustained move higher. That would certainly help Rainbow make a profit.

Condensate is all well and good but 600 barrels a day gross doesn't seem like it's really going to make SDX much money at all. A circa 20% WI in South Disouq gets them 120 barrels a day. Maybe about $2.5m in extra revenue before costs??? What might the cost per barrel be considering these wells produce mostly gas?

I would say those two trades, the 200k and the 119k were sells. Helps to explain why the share price couldn't get going today. There's always tomorrow. Down 1.8% in Canada at the moment too. Sigh.

Has no one actually bought any shares here since 10am? I find that hard to believe. Someone must be dumping in to this liquidity as the price isn't budging despite all the buys.

They've got targets coming out of their ears in both Egypt and Morocco with oil targets in Egypt too. Bags of future upside potential. They'll probably find more as time goes by as their concessions do appear to be very prospective. Silver, good darts RE the condensate from SD which has been confirmed today and pretty much bang on what might have been expected given the GOR you gave. That said just how much money can SDX net from 500/600 barrels of condensate? Any further thoughts? This is technically ready on the chart to either break up or down either today or tomorrow. Which way will it go? ??

Thanks for the reply Silver. I've done some rough calculations based on the GOR you specified earlier. At 60,000scf/Bbl of condensate, 50MMSCF/d equates to about 800 Bbl condensate per day gross. Given SDX's rather naff economic interest in the South Disouq concession surely condensate production at that rate won't really make much difference to their cash flow. At a circa 20% economic interest in SD, SDX would get about 150 Bbl condensate per day (if there's any there at all). Unless I'm in error above it seems condensate production would be worth bugger all to SDX if condensate in Egypt goes for anything like a condensate figure I pulled for Canadian condensate from oilprice.com (circa $60/bbl).
