It is very clear that SDX really have played a blinder both in Morocco and South Disouq. How many companies have the amount of success with the drillbit that SDX have had in 2017/2018? Very, very few. In fact I don't know of any (I am sure there are some just unknown to myself at present).

With what they have learned already from drilling and the 3D seismic they are due to run on both Morocco and SD, you can only imagine they will have a similar level of success when they drill next year. All you can do is hold and hope for more continued success and eventually some level of interest from the market. If my portfolio was larger I would buy more here but at the moment it's too large a percentage. If I do well in some other holdings I will likely move a little bit of the profits here.

The article is definitely talking about SDX though, I doubt it would be possible to mix the two companies up. Possibly the writer just nabbed an image of a drilling rig from Sound.

If it is a loan or placing maybe SDX will have some exciting reasoning to go along with it. 'Expedite Morocco surveying and drilling due to #InsertExcitingReasonHere' perhaps?

Are they getting the money in the form of a grant or are they getting a loan or is the Bank investing in a private placement or something? What is going on? It's a shame the article is in French as something is probably lost in translation. Either way I guess we find out tomorrow or Thursday.

I think I'd take that right now. I don't think SDX right now if offered it in a buy out. I wouldn't sell all my shares if that were the market price though, too much future potential. Right now though it seems £1.50 is a LONG way off.

A good amount of liquids in Morocco, be they condensates or even oil would be a bit of a game changer for SDX. While the gas production in Morocco is lucrative they currently don't produce all that much. An oil/condensate discovery or two would be a very significant development. Especially given the fantastic fiscal regime in Morocco. We just have to wait for the leads to be identified and for the drilling to commence next year. We still have the results of one of the recent Morocco drills that had those first initial liquid shows. It couldn't be tested. There might be something in that very first well.

You can't begin to second guess at the reasons behind these geopolitical moves mp79. There's a whole other level above the nation state that holds no allegiances to any country. On a national level adding a 10% tariff on something you don't produce is of course stupid and suicidal, but as I said, the level above pulling the strings doesn't care about that. Mark my words, sooner or later the US (and the West in general) is going to fall from grace big time - to allow for the rise of the East - and it's all by design. Traitors within our midst - although they never had any allegiance to the states they are betraying in the first place, but it seems a reasonable way to describe what is going on.

Currently it's being constrained by a rising trendline going back to March. I suppose we should be grateful it's a rising trendline and not a falling one. Nice little gap down this morning to further troll us all.

It's really quite remarkable how this is still so cheap. I suppose we should be grateful - not in this instance if you've already bought all the shares you care to - as it's this type of market irrationality that allows you to make money in the markets, buying deep value when others seemingly wont.

Yes, despite the fact that most trades are sells (obviously someone is buying on the other end but anyway) the sell price being offered is inching up. Not enough interest to move it much though.

Shares going for 61.7p equivalent over on the TSX right now. Don't think that will translate to AIM tomorrow though somehow.

Southmean, sadly I think you are mistaken. The 57mmscf/d figure comes from page 23 of latest presentation and includes Ibn-Yunus. Maybe additional gas finds can take that up a bit. A big hit at SD3-X and then the other contingent drill in SD (if they go for it) might get the volume closer to 100mmscf/d. That said they haven't flow tested SD-4X yet have they. Hopefully they'll get more than 60mmscf/d out of South Disouq by year end.
