why is it neil assumes that everybody holding ocado shares must be in a position of loss???

the "right time" is whenever an individual investor decides is the right time for him or her .......if everyone was able to get it perfectly right EVERY time we'd all be bleedin millionaires rodney

things must be bad in your investment world if you have to come here ramping other shares lol

no nerve hit mate .....im quite happy making 10's of 1000's with my investments in ocado thank you .....and with the known volatility in the share price i look forward to making 1000's more

and the love of neils life m&s are looking to engage 85 tech specialists to further improve marks' online presence.....so online retail is far from being in a death spiral as neil seems to imply.....or is it ocado only he wants to fail??

you know when folk are struggling to present a decent point of view when they have to scrape the bottom of the barrel in comparing asda to ocado when trying to substantiate that arguement lol

ocado retails new tv campaign in the uk

Look out for Ocado Retail's new TV advert hitting your screens on Saturday 8th May.

Last month Ocado Retail announced a major refresh of their own brand packaging. This saw the removal of nine million non-essential packaging components; an overall reduction of 27 tonnes of plastic; and 10 tonnes of paper across the whole range annually! The redesign means:

640,000 non-recyclable plastic nets will be removed annually
Printing product information directly onto Ocado own brand packaging instead of onto an adhesive label
Improved recyclability of egg boxes, moving from green to undyed white.

i have no problem with marks being discussed here as ocado and marks are firmly joined at the hip ...it does annoy me tho when blinkered marks fans come here running down ocado and their achievements going on and on about court cases lack of profit no ebitda blah blah blah .....yes we need more cfc's yes we need more spokes yes we need to be greener yes we need many other things ...all of which are being addressed ....rome was not built in a day ocado is still in its infancy in the grand scheme of things

so according to neil ocado needs m&s??...m&s are central to all ocado aspirations??....utter nonsense ....ocado would be exactly in the position they are with or without m&s....there are plenty of grocery retailers who would love to be in the position of m&s right now....i'd hate to think where m&s would be right now without the JV....m&s needs ocado way more than vice versa....i hold equity in both as i think they both have a lot to offer going forward but for christ sake lets be realistic here

trouble is some personalities deny the existance of positive "facts"

i would suggest that repackaging marks products would be down to marks ...nothing to do with the JV or ocado

ahh beat me to it value lol......unfortunately these things do not happen overnight ...

as i understand it packaging is already being looked at and steps are already being taken to reduce plastics use ....im sure there is more to come in this area
