A collision between three robots at Ocado’s Erith CFC last Friday sparked a blaze ......this is from "the grocer" but i have yet to see this be confirmed by ocado ....so this seems to be a software issue?? ....therefore should be quite easy to rectify??
ffs ......Your thoughts are very negative. You only see negatives in numbers especially when might benefit you....posted on boohoo by kallumama in reply to a post on boohoo....kinda mirrors his own stance here...pot kettle black comes to mind
i would never be seen in an aldi or lidl never mind queuing lol ....i prefer some sort of quality which when i dont have an ocado/marks delivery tesco are quite happy to provide me with in the tesco finest range
im probably a bit thick and i cant be arsed to do a lot of pointless research but i would suggest that the aldis and lidls of this world would mostly be taking customers who also have physical stores and very little from online only grocers ...so all this arguementative tooing and froing seems rather pointless ....just saying
i worked for ocado and it was only spare drivers or drivers who were asked to come in on their days of that went into the warehouse to pick or pack .....planned routes were not affected during the pandemic
the only thing that concerns me is that following 2 fires that were apparently caused by robots is that the entire robot fleet may have to redesigned and replaced...the cost of this could be enormous .....there is obviously a design fault somewhere....nevertheless my belief in ocado remains strong
Ocado will offer Carrefour’s “Reflets de France” range of authentic French produce in the UK, alongside its current range of Waitrose and own-branded products. this was back in 2011 ...ive yet to find out when the collaboration ended
and as far as the legal stuff goes i would say once again that companys investing in ocado tech will have done due diligence as regards patent ownership ....i personally am not overly worried about the lawsuits
