My guess is that the drilling has gone well and the early results are known but they are being held back for the same reason that the sp has been managed for the past couple of months.

Two trades above 250k today, (266k and 369K), Adon30. There have been no "big" trades today. But the share is being manipulated, and it has been for more than two months now. And that is not being done by MMs at their whim!

to the contrary,Mr.B, I think they are controlling the SP, or more properly, the broker and the MMs are doing so on their bahalf. For obvious reasons !

the companies. I could have added : a chairman steps down with no credible explanation given. A new NED is appointed with no credible reason given, but one infers that it's to give a chum,(or even the chum of a chum). a nice little income for attending a few meetings annually. Cash is raised, ( a placing) to take the enterprise forward but most goes to funding lifestyle and salaries.And eventually the majority of AIM companies go to the wall. There are very few observed rules to protect share holders.
Having aired all that I have to say that the main reason I am still well invested inZephyr is because,from the beginning of that investment, I was very impressed with the quality of the BOD and especially with the very open profile of CH. With the frequency and the quality of news dissemination, and with the evolving business and environmental plan. And I still believe I'm in the right place. The very short term will show whether my confidence is justified. May all be well.

Added to all the paradoxes you mention there is the fact that it is frequently impossible to tell a sell from a buy which is really astonishing. That the Sp falls on days when buys outnumber sells vastly. That one never knows who is pulling the strings and that our invested cash is in the hands of somebody's unexplained whim. It's really just gambling with a whiff of research.But we all dream that we will find that nugget, like GGP.

An average of around 10 million shares per day traded over the last two months in a company with 1.22 billion shares tells it all. The sp is, and has been, managed for a long time now presumably waiting on the drill results to get the response from US institutional investors. What Pi's in the US do will be inconsequential. Indeed what we do inthe UK will not be of very great consequence either in a company where the board is such a strong and tight shareholder. The shares are illiquid and only an inrush of new investors will change that. Have a look at the recent trades : 200K looks big!! Whereas it's very small.

Idiot441. The Tim Adams tweet hit the nail on the head. Yes, we'll have to wait for the testing and clean up results for a couple of weeks after the drilling, and we are unlikely to be given flow rates when we are given the broad results of the drilling.

Ten trades today above 100k. Scarcely a welter of excitement!! And all the "guess men" and old hands are just that. We'll know the truth when it is announced. Meanwhile nobody is wagering very much!

116 trades, more buys than sells, 6 posters here,(seven now , sorry about that),and the price fell 7.5%. Thats's sums it up ?

I imagine they are looking for institutional investors on the Us Market so it's too early to expect any effect from the listing.

Hard to escape the conclusion that the SP is being manipulated, yet again. The oil price debacle probably presented a god sent opportunity. Probably being engineered in the run up to the US listing. MM's work or MM's at the behest of the company's broker, (ie the company itself ), is hard to tell.
The Paradox drill result will,hopefully, change all that.

There has hardly been a visible trade today for more than 400k shares. That would seem to indicate that some small investors are backing out and being helped to do so by the MM's. Also ZPHR is at a sensitive point with the most important drilling activity in progress. There can be no security thay it will be successful so the jittery are leaving, sure that they will be able to reenter if the news is good. Problem for such will be that a super successful result will probably cause the sp to rocket, leaving them out in the cold.The answers will come very soon.

The liquidity of the stock is very poor and it is clearly something that the BOD wants to address as they wish to attract institutional investors.

Best not to make offensive and unfounded comments about someone you know absolutely nothing about,apart from the fact that I hold 14.5 million shares here!

Blair Peach, I think your loss is dreadful. From the day of the unexplained defenestration of the chairman, GL, and the changing of the broker I felt that there was something badly amiss here. I left with a loss that was less than half of yours, but I never regretted the choice I made.
the involvement in the HW purchase was all posited on the idea of government grants which never appeared. The ML was reportedly about to be granted before the chairman went. No satisfactory explanation for the lack of the licence or the chairman leaving was forthcoming. Remember HW went bust once.........!

Have no influence upon the SP. And in the end that's all that matters to investors.
The reasons for posting are manifold. Some want to express an opinion that they feel to be important,and that's good. Some want to pass the time, and that's ok.
The difficult posts are those written in pidgin,or very poor English,(and there are many of these), and they are a complete waste of space.But the posts I most dislike are those that just cut and paste a RNS which may have been issued that same day.
Sometimes a poster may post a nugget of important information missed by others. That too is good, but rare. Ultimately it's a matter of taste, I suppose. But posters DO NOT influence the SP!
PS. I think it would be very interesting if all posters were expected to declare the number of shares they hold,or at least declare whether they hold any shares inthe stock they are posting about!
