im a professional trader this is what i do. I dont normally do individual stocks as I play the index futures market as stocks are way too expensive to buy and sell. The irrevocable sell attracted me but stupid retail got in the way as I tried to advise. This should have been a 1p trade but heho here we are

He has only proposed 2 to go, rest stay in place. Yes he says on twitter he is but I cant believe for one second that FCA will like his cash diversion and go international plan. Anybody who understands the Q1 cashflow statement knows this plan isnt realistic and so I believe they wont approve his plan and whether that will include declining him as CEO based on this strategic direction has to be very probable.
I think the circus he has created will come back to haunt him and so what was overlooked in the past I dont think will be now. Amigo is way too high profile and you can bet the suits will be covering their ass. Holding 20% isn't the issue for me, its who is steering the ship.

everybody knows about Richmong Group and that the biggest buyers have been HL, IB, Crawford, Halifax, Redmayne and II in that order. Biggest sellers, Richmond, Miton Group, Invesco, Aberforth, Vanguard, Soc Gen & BNP.
I don't know if they will come back before all the outstanding stuff settled, i doubt it.
I genuinely mean this, the best hope for this sp is a resounding No to JB. It has to be from retail as he thinks this is where his fan base lies (its the only place). If he gets in, the current Board has implied today its no slam dunk they will propose him as CEO and that means the squablle goes on. Mgmt spend more of scarce shareholder money and the institutions keep selling and on it goes till either RBC or FCA finish it. I strongly recommend a loud NO to all his proposals and let the numbers do the talking

Aberforth now selling, sold 2.580M shares on 31/8 & Vanguard Group 1.478M and Invecso 5.5M shares. This is the institutional money saying a big No to the threat of JB. The debt will go the same way in December if he gets in and he doesn't have the money to refinance them. His 29% commitment at maximum 20p is only £28.5M and some here think he will refinance £199M at current cost of 2%! He has been a disaster for this sp since the turn of the year. The smart money knows then if he gets elected to the Board the infighting will continue and be a distraction and every day that this goes on adds unnecessary risk. The current Board wont propose him as CEO and then he will throw his toys out again and be off again and on it goes and all the time the sp sinks and the FCA get more and more fed up with them. Be very careful what you vote for. There is only one right strategy here.

I know for a fact you are WRONG. A regulated group is only as good as its weakest link and this is why the regulator cares about the totality of the group. If they didnt any regulated co. could take resources out of the regulated entity to the unregulated at the detriment of the regulated. This would not be allowed by the regulator and this is why they all communicate with one another and foreign regulators defer to the judgements of the home country. Thankfully they are not as stupid as you. Making an investment decesion assuming stupidity applies never ends well.

No it doesnt relate to complaints alone. I would add the continued debt financing and the impact of Covid on the adequacy of the credit provision, . If it alone was complaints given that mgmt have restated their is no cohort problems this would be the least of my short term worries as £120M already provided for allows at lot of redress on a £550M net loan book. The three single biggest issues in the short term are the JB circus, FCA investigations and what RBC are going to do and what implications this has for the secured bond. If there is any sort of cross acceleration its over if RBC decide they want out

If I was an uninformed as you I would go sit in the bookies and play there. At least there you MIGHT be perceived as adding value. Here, you are way out of your depth

They just pointed out who appoints the CEO. They are right to be scared, 100% right. If you were long Amigo you should be scared as you face wipe-out. I dont think the current management, maybe even Board, are exceptional. They dont need to be. They just have to sort out a situation where the FCA have lost confidence in them. If they dont fix this I dont care who is running AMIGO, it is over. There is a well documented history of CEOs fighting their regulator. This only ever ends one way sooner or later. Thats the job that needs to be done everything else is a total wate of time and money and anybody who suggests otherwise is dreaming or erroneously thinking JB is the ticket to some fast money. For christs sake the company has a going concern qualification and some PIs think it wise to back this circus. It needs to end and let the company get back the confidence of the FCA. This wont happen with JB who thinks he can take them on and win which is another sign of his immaturity.

I think he wont be approved by FCA with his current plan. He has publicly told them if he gts to be CEO his focus is moving things away from reach of FOS and with his international plan outside the reach of the FCA. Do you think the FCA will approve this? I dont. Also there is a lack of understanding of how regulators work. They are very very on top of ensuring there is no regulatory arbitrages and make sure that entities in the same group cant play where the regulation is easier by applying the home country rules if they are more onerous. The thought that a public co can so flagrantly flaunt the rules is beyond stupid and PIs need to wake up to this.

its the put option that the fast money think will ensure they get 20p and so will vote for him. As drafted if he is not APPOINTED CEO AND APPROVED then there is no put option and fast money disappointed. What do you think they will do then? You dont need to be a genuis to work out there is NO upside to JB, only loads of downside. BUT retail is generally where the stupid money is and they learn the hard way.

I didnt say it was, the put option is contingent on him being CEO.
