The latter three quarters of 2024 shows very clearly why you're wrong. This process takes a long time. And from the update we had, we saw that behind the scenes lawyers took upwards of 10 months to refine the contracts, and this actually resulted in success rather than failure - this wasn't a case of any party getting cold feet or walking away or even expressing any kind of dissatisfaction with the terms of the trial contract - the result was the tripartite agreement we were told about initially. Without any additional news - news that would be illegal to keep secret otherwise - this process is what's happening now with Cargill. No one is taking anything personally and expressions of frustration is perfectly normal. However expressions of certainty that the leadership is incompetent or dishonest or the product itself is unlikely to find eventual buyers does beg the question as to why the share is owned. People don't buy or hold shares in companies they don't believe in.

This is a particularly generous assessment of the motivations of some of the users of the board.

Maybe. Or maybe the share price was on a slow decline before that and it's continued after. Or both, or neither...but I don't think introducing an additional 0.1% additional shares to the market can be blamed for a 10% SP fall.

So, the most likely explanation for any activity is still that people are committing very obvious crimes.

His is literally the story of retail investors generally. They buy an asset, when it goes up the feel good about their decision and hold it (rather than selling) and when it goes down they feel they've made a poor decision and have a bad emotional reaction and sell it (rather than hold or buy more). It's just as true of S&P 500 ETFs - you won't believe the number of people who sold out a couple months ago when it slipped 10%. These people shouldn't be anywhere near the market, it's not for them and they'll only ever lose money.

But investors *haven't* been selling shares, at least not in any great quantity. There are two BILLION shares issued. The volume is in the thousands, microscopic. No one is trading either way at the moment, which given the lack of news either way is what you'd expect.

I believe that once everything for the trial is signed and sealed we're looking at somewhere around the 10p mark. Obviously, imho, it should be much higher but we are where we are. However we do have other pipelines and bits of news from those could easily contribute 1p to the share price per small piece of news.

They communicated a share purchase of just over 8.4M share via exercise of options (it cost 1p per share plus all the additional rate income tax and NI at the current share price) and then a subsequent sale of 1.774M shares plus additional sales to cover the cost of the whole exercise.

To present this as "Jason sold shares" is to willfully ignore the much larger share purchase.

He bought net 5 million shares at a likely tax cost of £75k plus the 1p per share cost to a total cost of acquisition of £125k less the sale of the shares giving a net cost of acquisition of approximately £57000.

Yes. We should also examine the *strength* of price movements when they happen. This means volume. If the share price goes from 6p to 5.5p it matters if this is a result of thousands of trades totalling millions of pounds, or the result of one trade for a couple of grand. Both definitely look the same on the price of the share but the former is a strong price - difficult to move and one that can be replicated: you can also buy or sell for near the new 5.5p share price. If the price had moved on very low volume, it may not be "real" in the sense that when you want to trade, the price you'll get will again be closer to the 6p level.

Although the announcement of the CEO could be variable - as soon as both companies agree the information can be released, and according to the law.
