MadDogMC - I'm much more interested in Sparkle - maybe a bit counterintuitive but I'm much happier for Quadrise to spread their net as wide as possible and get their pipeline filled with dozens of tiny companies - each one being a commercial opportunity and each one being PR and word of mouth for the product. This, as opposed to putting our eggs in one golden basket which we really don't need as such - one regular commercial client will show the whole market, all their competitors and the whole world that this is a real, working product that is clean, safe for the hardware and saves money in every ton - and so it doesn't particularly matter if that one or other client makes us a lot of money or not. And to my mind there's a much better chance of getting quick signatures from small companies and then doing it again and again.

Well, I think we know it's probably not good enough yet to provide samples - or basically not good enough to go near an engine in any case. There's no base quality requirements to use asphalt as tarmac so that's what they're doing at the moment while they work out the kinks. It's a good RNS. We knew about these issues (basically) - the concern was whether everything was still going ahead. We now know it is, albeit on a longer timeframe.

Anyone noticed that

1. Trump is acting an unpredictably as ever, including with regard to macroeconomic and supranational trade policy

2. There's been markedly less mention of technical trading, trend following and tea leaves on this board.

People who think that the reason things sound promising is because Jason's been lying. Me, I think Jason's been truthfully giving us his very best guess based on the information at hand and it hasn't panned out because he isn't in control of the process - there are other parties and they're delaying things. But you said they were just lying.

I wish they did! But they only have a duty to, essentially, not lie. They don't have a duty to provide timelines at all, and if they do provide them then they just have to be on good faith.

But we may not get one (we won't get one) for the same reason we have gotten one - we're not inside, we're just shareholders. Quadrise almost certainly can't release detailed information of contract negations at any stage, for the same reason they haven't released the actual "binding contract" that was signed. They've never released the wording of any contract nor the specifics of business and contract operations because this isn't something any companies do or can do.

We have a fat enough pipeline, and it's staggered enough, and all are far enough along, that we can *easily* have a progress RNS from one or more of them any day now.

I think it's also a big thing that Panama's adoption of MSAR is relevant due to their significant canal bunkering opportunities. Once MSAR is in the country, it's in.

Most SIPPS will offer PCLS at each income payment, rather than all at the beginning - so, for example, if you took £100k income at year 1, 25k of that could be PCLS. The same in year 2 and thereafter.

Assume this means placing the SIPP into drawdown? If so that won't affect your investments (other than those you'll need to sell for the income).
