Here we go again, what is wrong with you people? More negativity and absolute nonsense being spouted, we have shares in a company that is going places, granted in the next year to 18 months and all I see lately is two bob bickering that gets you nowhere!

Why has this bulletin board turned into a slanging match with negativity abounding? The takeover from newmont was unlikely to happen anyway and the fact it hasn’t only means we get back to the business of drilling down to the orebody in good time! Nothing has changed in that regard as the digging keeps on getting nearer to the time when gold can be produced. All this sniping and general wetting of one’s underwear is not helping. Get a grip, you are all over 21 and we have no influence on the boards decisions one way or another. I want a stronger share price just like any other shareholder but we are nearer to mining ore than not, and until we do I suspect the share price is going nowhere.

I am pleased that as my previous postings I had not thought newcrest would accept newmonts offer which offered little or no financial benefits to the shareholders! For our part we can now get back to the business in hand of getting down to the orebody and digging it out! First quarter 2024 is the target and then the share price should move upwards (subject to no more dilution)

I got that impression as well, I hope dilution is not too strong as we’ve had a fair amount of that already!

I have to say that I am amazed by the recent negative comments posted on this bulletin board! I after the initial euphoria about the potential takeover by newmont which I myself do not think will happen, I noticed numerous people speculating that this or that may happen which would increase the share price! Since then it seems only negative comments are being posted, I myself am down six figures and while I am not happy with the current level of the share price I am old enough and ugly enough to realise that the company is not yet producing gold and therefore it is a waiting game until the ore is being hauled out of the ground. What can we do? Nothing is the answer, wait or don’t wait it’s up to you but moaning about it will only get your blood pressure up but not much more! Blaming the board for the low share price is not going to get the ore out of the ground any quicker.

Both the DTM and resource upgrade are positive to our share price with the current number of shares in circulation, however the main thing that we need to move the share price dial is actual mining of the ore and therefore the market will see that the company will be moving to positive cash flow as opposed to dilution, borrowing and talk! This will take another 18 months or so and I personally want to see it happen in that time frame or sooner with no interruptions or dilution to the current set up.

It would be a massive increase in shares which would lead to a massive dilution of the price! The increase in the worth of the company would be higher of course but so would the massive increase in costs to finish the drilling down and start up costs which newcrest are now shouldering the burden of! I still think that newcrest will stay put and rebuff the offer from newmont. Time will tell of course and little point in speculation until they say one way or the other.

Spade, as per my previous comment, I don’t believe that newcrest would accept the bid by newmont due to the fact they are not offering a big enough premium on what is already a beaten down share price! I personally hope we continue with the status quo and get to mining ore as quickly as possible. All this pointless speculation about buying Haveiron and Telfer is to expect massive dilution to our share price and may not be in the small shareholders interest.

Seems to be a very large number of sells showing, possibly some are buys as the price seems to stay quite static!

GGP have 30% not 15%

All this talking of what may or may not happen if a takeover is successful is all very well but it’s not a done deal by any means and may not come off at all! We need to be mindful of the newcrest shareholders who may be unhappy with the premium offered when they themselves know the potential of Haveiron and would prefer not to sell and stay for the ride!

I hope you are correct, my preference would be for GGP to buyout the remaining 70% we don’t own and with the new boards experience and backgrounds take ourselves to mining!

The main problem I see there is the price to take out GGP! They will not want to pay what we all think it’s worth and will therefore have a problem.

It may be that like a lot of shares today that are down people are selling because of the need for money to pay end of year tax bills! Just a thought

Why do you need to put them in a sipp? You cannot by the way, but the point is that they are completely tax free when you come to sell them, so why worry?

I noticed from you Previous messages that you were a long time shareholder and were happy to wait it out like the rest of us until we get to production? Are you just having a bad day or has something changed your mind regarding this share?

Whilst I’m glad to see all these large buys, I do wonder who’s selling? Hopefully it’s a sign of positive news on the horizon!

My top up purchase of 145,000 shares at 10.42 shows as a sell! I wonder how many more buys are showing as sells?

Thank you for your kind advice about looking forward to revenue!! Do you always patronise people without knowing what their investment criteria are? For your information I look long term on this particular share and the comment I made regarding the after hours trades was just that, a comment.

The point is that they were after hours trades!
