We saw the same thing happen in may when the share price rose at the same extent to around 9p I’m hoping this time it will keep going as still underwater as averages is just under 12p!

I rewatched the interview with Callum Baxter yesterday and as someone who was on the inside (and probably still is to some extent) I was reasonably impressed with what he had to say about the company’s assets etc! The most reassuring part of the interview was right at the end when he said that he was still a shareholder (and a substantial one) if someone of his pedigree and knowledge of the company’s business has not sold and is waiting for the upturn that he knows is coming, then all these bulletin board panic merchants that have polluted this board of late are just that, PANIC MERCHANTS!

You are correctly summing up the state of various mining shares at the moment, look at cey, hum,shg,solg for examples, all down significantly the same as us, even newmont and newcrest are not shining as they should be.

Personally I will be pleased if Newmont take until February of next year to make their minds up about divesting or not, the longer they take means the nearer we are to the orebody and thereby Newmont will in the meantime be shouldering the bulk of the costs of doing so.

Out of curiosity, what would have been the list of “loads of questions?)

Before Shaun announced that he was coming to London for a town hall event to update everyone as best he could (subject to closed periods) there were certain people on hear screaming about No information or updates etc! He announced a few RNS’s made a few interviews and then turned up to face his shareholders to answer direct questions. We know we have to wait and until the larger merger is concluded we can do nothing, now is the time to sit on your hands and do nothing except to top up if finances permit! That’s investing for you, watching everyday share gyrations is obviously driving some people to distraction!

Did anyone at the town hall meeting press Shaun on the real reason why the ASX listing has been deferred? My own suspicions are that something is coming that may make the current setup redundant! As in a potential bid or takeover that doesn’t need the added complications of a new cross listing! I am open to be educated if anyone has spoken to shaun face to face and has received a satisfactory explanation?

A period of few comments posted today! Makes a change To the usual reams of arguments and general sniping. Very pleasurable not to wade through the usual detritus that has plagued this board for some time.

In case I’m accused of being a liar, his post on 3rd may 2021 states, my investment for the moment is underwater as I am a latecomer! The share price at the time was .22p. If he is now posting negative and nonsensical posts it can only because of his paper losses that is making him become disillusioned and unhappy! This is a perfectly normal reaction by someone who has no history in making medium to long term investments, I’m certainly not defending him but I’m sure he’s feeling the pressure! This was always about First ore and the timing is a mere year away. Keep the faith as I’m sure next year all the present And previous trials and tribulations will be in the rear view mirror.

Spade, I had wondered the same thing, I have looked at Reds posting history regarding this company and it seems that a couple of years ago his posts were positive and foreward looking in nature. He stated that at around the 22 p mark he was still underwater on his investment so if that is still the case and he has not averaged down then maybe he has just lost hope in the investment. Whilst understandable it would explain the negative and sometimes nonsensical posts.

I notice that the Essex meet venue the Bull pub has now gone Cashless! I don’t agree with those types of practices and won’t be going there again. Had wanted to meet up with fellow ggp shareholders recently but unfortunately couldn’t make it, is it still going to be the future meeting place with this policy in place or do others not agree with me that going cashless is a step too far?

Look at it this way, if it was a sale, which I suspect due to the slight dip in the share price after the closing bell, then someone has the confidence to lay out north of £900,000 to buy them. Fine by me.
