Just wondered win percentage terms how near we were to the orebody, however I suppose as we are ahead of schedule and due I hope to be at the gold by early 2024 it is slightly irrelevant. Appreciate your reply.

Sureblazes, when you make the point about how far we are down to the orebody, could you clarify for me how far down we are as yo seem to suggest we are not yet halfway down? Are we a quarter, third way to the orebody? I have seen the many charts regarding how many meters down we are but in percentage terms I have never been sure how near to the gold we actually are!

Does anyone know when any news, updates etc are due out? I have held for quite some time now and like most people are a long way from profit but I have not really been paying attention as the share has drifted to such a ridiculously low level that I had dismissed it as one of my mistakes, noticed lately some activity that I assume is not just because of the higher gold price but maybe something else? Anyone?

You are not the only one, I had wondered the same myself!

Doggy100, why would you expect this to go higher? Sometimes funds add and sometimes they sell down, it generally has no bearing on the share price! Good news for the company in general is the only thing that will get the share price moving to the upside!

And forgot to add, now living in Essex!

It’s called “The sanctuary of truth” just outside Pattaya, built entirely of wood it has been in constant construction for years and still a work in progress! Have visited it many times and highly recommend it to anyone going to that part of Thailand.

I’m afraid you misunderstand me! Of course everyone is entitled to their own opinions and I was not disparaging them at all, I was merely pointing out that until a deal is done or not then anything else is just pure speculation! If what I said is not to your taste then I can’t do anything about that, however I was only pointing out the obvious in that all these different theories about how to buy, pay for the bits of Haveiron that we don’t own seem pretty pointless until clarity has been achieved. I prefer to deal in facts and as acechaser has pointed out, that is BORING! So be it, I want this share to do well and to my mind keeping a clear head and not speculating on what might be is far more constructive than not, if I upset you it was not my intention.

Again I note this bulletin board is full of ifs, buts, maybes and conspiracy theories! Newmont has yet to even make an accepta Offer for Newcrest and yet everyone seems to be assuming that it’s a done deal and we at GGP will somehow be picking off the juicy bits that we want! Firstly the offer to take over Newcrest wasn’t any way near good enough and had it been near a ballpark figure then behind the scenes negotiations would have resulted in an improved offer, I personally cannot see the shareholders of Newcrest accepting a takeover deal unless a far better offer is made. Even if a deal can be reached (which I doubt) it still doesn’t mmean that Telfer and the 70% of Haveiron that we don’t own would be for sale! I hope the status quo remains and we stick to the original script and go mining in a years time with no further debt or dilution in any form.

As the subject matter and the company in question was Newcrest, why would GGP be mentioned?

While it’s gratifying to see some share activity it’s not as if it’s going up a penny at a time! When it starts moving 9,10, 11p then something is up, a fraction of a penny is not anything to get excited about in my humble opinion.

Does that mean a potential rise in gold and silver prices in your opinion?
