As I referred to in my previous post about casino losing mentality, and in the post before stating that the Hummingbird poster’s were just going off the edge with their negative comments, it seems that this week has brought out the same sort of people with nothing positive to comment on, they instead choose to go the woe is me, you, us, and if it’s not that the share is being manipulated then it’s being held down for who knows who’s benefit! If you don’t think the company is going anywhere but down or you think it’s share price is not where you want it to be then sell up and invest your money elsewhere! It makes no sense to constantly winge and whine about something that is out of your control and you suspect a conspiracy theory of one sort or the other. Stay the course If like me you think the company is going places, otherwise sell up and invest in a company that you are happy with.

All this general winging about how much you are down and how the board should do more etc reminds me of being in casinos where some people having a long and tedious losing run somehow seem to think that the casino is to blame, wrong numbers, another losing hand on top of the last 20 or so! When in fact it’s just the luck of the draw or spin of the wheel! Blaming anything and everyone is pointless, you either don’t gamble or you do, if so your must realise that things may not go your way (until they do) investing in shares is just the same, you placed your money on the table after presumably doing some research and deduced that it was worth having a punt! I am myself down a substantial amount, well into six figures but I invested knowing that the benefits will be coming no earlier than 2024 when the orebody has been reached and mining will then start. The share price in the meantime (whilst annoyingly drifting) will do what it does, up and down like a who’re*s drawers but unless you need the money you just have to wait it out. The board are an excellent collection of multi talented individuals who are presumably in it for the money and unless they make an almighty scre* up will deliver. Invest or don’t but stop winging.

It was only just a few short weeks ago with the newmont takeover of Newcrest almost in the bag that all and sundry were on here talking about how the share price would rocket if either ggp got taken over by newmont or alternatively ggp would buyout the 70% of Haveiron that we don’t own! The second of the two scenarios would involve a fund raise which would equal a dilution which was seen as acceptable under the circumstances. Since then with a fund raise leaked or not depending on how you look at it the sentiment has changed dramatically to the negative, but why? We still have the gold underground and the tunnelling is moving ever nearer to the orebody, the board is seen as strong and capable of dealing with the larger partner, and if a funding is required upon listing on the ASX then maybe it’s because it’s required for a purchase of some kind? Either way nothing has much changed in regards first ore in 2024 with or without our current partner who is also shouldering the burden of the costs to get the mine up and running. So nothing has changed except the constant negativity on this board which if you were invested until 2024 for first ore makes no difference to your investment. I have mentioned before that I’ve seen the same griping on the hummingbird site with dilution and screams of the company about to run out of money, then suddenly in just a few short weeks after announcing that the new mine was almost ready to come on line the share price went from 7p to 20p and those same people griping about how bad the management was etc changed their tune and are now saying how undervalued the share price is! Nothing has changed here so ignore the noise and wait for first ore in 2024.

They’ve been sanctioned for a long time so not going to make any difference now.

I notice a meeting seems to be happening at the above! I assume it’s a pub but whereabouts is it located please? I am located in Leigh on sea in Essex and maybe it’s too far but would like to know where and if all are welcome?

While I am no supporter of diluting the share price further, I was until very recently a shareholder in hummingbird resources and only a few week ago another dilution was announced with the explanation that it was needed to complete the development of a second mine! The comments were very similar as the ones I see today here insofar as the people in charge are crooks,thieves, only out to help themselves etc, however shortly afterwards they announced that the same mine was due to start producing very shortly and then within a couple of weeks or so the share price went from just under 7p to 20p! Those same people who were bad mouthing the management then changed tack and said what a great share it was and was now undervalued!! Only goes to show that we do not know what’s going on behind the scenes and either trust your judgment and the board or sell up and move somewhere else.

Zoo, your first sentence sums up my niggles, he could quite easily send a strong signal to the share price, in one of the last town hall meetings it was put to him about the constantly weakening share price and he replied that it must have been down to the retail investors selling! A purchase by him would have put a floor under any weakening retail holders, however I doubt very much that retail investors are the sellers here, most of us seem to be very firm in our belief in this company. I go back to my original point, if everything is as good as we all hope it is then at any time in the last year or so excepting closed periods, Shaun could have bought some shares!
