Chester, a few things:
There is a second chrome contract for 500,000 tonnes due to reach maturity in 2027, it's with the same company who decided not to renew the first contract and the implication is that this one would also not be renewed (not stated outright). That would leave Jubilee with just over 1m tonnes/ year.
The original Northam JV at Inyoni is no longer an option as they are fully using their capacity to process own material of a higher grade than Jubilee's.
The second JV is on the Northern Limb, closer to Thutse. Transporting PGM concentrate all that way for processing is likely not cost effective so what do they do with the stockpiles at Inyoni? Unless there's spare capacity elsewhere near Inyoni it would require them to build another plant.
