So they still have 6m shares which are each worth approximately 6 times what they paid for them…. Somewhat disappointed? I’d be somewhat delighted! Especially as they are only going to increase further in value.

My shares are worth nearly four times what I paid for them despite that ‘heavy backpack’. Funny that eh? :-)

I guess its possible the ‘mid-cap’ might be Ivanhoe, they are still a minnow in comparison to Anglo American or the other other big players.

The Chinese already have a 21.5% stake in Leda Mining (Casa has 73.5% stake and DRC government has 5%) through MMG which is a subsidiary Of China Minmetals, a state owned company. Maybe they have decided to buy out the Casa stake? Just a thought!

The company has a business plan for Zambia which they have been very clear about. Bleating about dividends which Leon said are at least 2 years away won’t change that. Either accept the plan and wait for the inevitable SP rise or move on and collect your winnings at the door. It’s really that simple.

Homey, I was interested in the content of your post! It was you who decided to post your holding and I was just pointing out that it is very easily faked. A better option would be to post your trade history which would show what you bought and at what price. Up to you, personally I don’t really care either way.

His tweets are always a bit cryptic! WTS is a standard abbreviation for ‘want to sell’ so I’m guessing that was the meaning. To be honest I never really thought a full sale would be on the cards but maybe if they get a good enough offer…. Only time will tell.

I don’t bother checking what Ella posts on here anymore but I assume he was flogging the same line here too. Just to clear things up, the whole reason for angled drilling is in order to intersect the dipping beds perpendicularly (as near as possible) so in effect the down-hole depth is not far off the actual thickness of mineralisation assuming they got the angle right! So, no, I wasn’t lying Ella. Can you say the same? :-)

It was mid July when we got going last year so plenty of time for that still.

GM not AGM… still waking up!

The last update said that they expected Roan to fully ramp up production during May. If they are able to confirm that has happened before the AGM then I would hope they would do so. That would give much more certainty over future earnings and would likely give a timely boost to the share price. We could be considerably higher before any potential share issue is required.

It’s not really about the company, it’s about the assets and the potential that they hold. Anglo have been in negotiations with Arc for well over a year and were in informal discussions with them before that. Why would they spend that amount of time and effort on a junior explorer unless they consider our licenses to be very significant prospects? That is the news story, not Arc. Anyway I hope we won’t have to wait much longer to find out!
