I did a ballpark calculation on the amount of copper cathode in the photos that were tweeted by Jubilee. I make it somewhere in the region of 90-100 tonnes. Having done a bit of reading on the electrowinning process it seems that the cathodes are typically harvested in a weekly cycle (happy to be corrected if someone knows better). So I’m going to assume that what we see is one weeks production. A quick calculation : 100 tonnes x 52 weeks = 5,200 Tonnes. We know that the rate of production is expected to increase but if my assumptions are correct, admittedly a big if, it at least puts a floor under the annual production figure!

Colin is very well funded through all those Chairman salaries and free shares…. The companies…. That’s more debatable!

I was surprised to see such an immediate response, definitely good to see. Ollie does say that better communication with shareholders is something he wants to see so hopefully we can expect a better approach going forward.

"At each of the license areas, the drill hole programme will initially comprise of an initial three hole Percussion/Rotary Air Blast 'RAB' programme over the centre of the soil anomaly to identify the lithologies below the Kalahari sand cover and confirm the presence of the D'Kar - Ngwako Pan contact. A further three hole Reverse Circulation (RC') drill programme spaced over 1km apart is planned to confirm the lateral extents of this contact, which will then be followed by Diamond Core drilling ('DD') to core through the contact."

Both THS and SLP are pretty much unchanged today which suggests that JLP has been massively oversold by panic sellers… but then I guess we knew that already!

I tend to agree with you regarding the new Chairman Jonah, three months in the job and not so much as a peep to introduce himself to the market. I think I'll ask the question on twitter although I don't expect a response!

Those warrants were issued in 2018 when the share price was 3.55p. They are not issuing ‘dirt cheap’ shares now. The expiry on the 6.12p shares is Jan 2023 so we can expect to see more of these warrants being taken up before then. Hopefully we get some positive news soon to offset the warrants!

It may be those 13 million warrants? The odd thing is most of the trades (including the large ones) are above the mid-point and seem likely to be buys. At least somebody can still see the bigger picture!

Let’s face it, none of these morons are exactly original thinkers are they, every trick has already been used many times before, including the ‘I know something you don’t know’ one! De-ramp 101. If they were as smart as they profess to be they would have got a decent job and they could pay someone else to spout rubbish on the internet :-)

Just noticed that one of the license areas which boarders the southern edge of the Zaco license has disappeared from the Cadastre. Any license which boarders our areas is going to be highly desirable… interesting!

I just rewatched the interview Paul Kabuswe, the Minister of Mines, gave about the initial audit findings. One thing I’d missed is that they discovered 40 bidding areas which had been locked off in the Cadastre and were unavailable. They plan to open these up for serious investors once the Cadastre re-opens. They also found individuals with up to 50 licenses which were just for speculation rather than exploration, I think a lot of these will also be freed up for investors. They also found companies with licences which have never been registered as companies with PACRA (I think Mushinge is included in that)…. You can see why its taking a while to get things in order, as well as finding out who was taking bribes in the Cadastre dept. There could be a lot of opportunities opening up once they finally open for business again.

My guess is they will discuss the matter in cabinet before re-opening. The cabinet usually meets twice a month, mid-month and at the end of each month, so next week would be the next opportunity. Let’s see what that brings!

I was saying yesterday that I think there is a bigger picture developing in Zambia with Jubilee and Mopani. One thing I didn’t mention is the MOU signed between Zambia and DRC to develop an EV battery manufacturing industry in the region. Obviously DRC has vastly more cobalt reserves than Zambia but in order to capture full value from manufacturing, the Zambian government will want to use locally sourced materials as much as possible. I think this is connected with Mopani announcing the decision to restart cobalt production again after so many years. This could be a massive opportunity for Jubilee in my opinion.

Flipper, if this company Blue Star Resources Ltd., was in any way serious they would be holding private discussions with Mopani. From what I can see that company is a one man band registered in the UK, with no money to speak of. You see a lot of these reports in Zambian news of companies ‘pledging’ to invest large sums of money which come to nothing.

Speaking of Cobalt, I note that its up another 5% today…. Nice time to start producing some!
