I would hope they are not going to hold back Botswana news any longer than necessary, it's already been well over a year waiting on those results! Anyway I guess once they have them they are duty bound to release them to the market. It would be great if they could follow it up with Zambia news but I guess that's in the hands of Anglo American. Will they have sent initial sample off for assay or will they wait until the rains force them to stop drilling (assuming they do)?

Looking back at previous drilling, we have had assays back in just about a month from drilling. Given that the JV was completed in mid November and (presumably) Botswana samples were dispatched shortly after, I think we might reasonably expect results within the next few weeks, hopefully sooner.

Can anyone find a share price between 1 and 10 that he hasn't predicted? 😂 Such a shame he's ramped HUM all the way from the mid 20's down to 10. Still I guess he must know what he's doing right?

NCK I think that that number refers to the yield, ie, how much chromite is recovered from the tailings. The actual grade of that chromite is a different thing. The numbers for price / tonne that Leon has quoted in the past have always been in line with 40-42% grade, which is currently around US$280-290 / tonne.

Speaking of chrome / PGM’s, Tharissa just released their last quarter results:

They reported “ the average metallurgical grade chrome concentrate price remained steady at $291/t, consistent with prices in the fourth quarter of the 2023 financial year.” which is slightly higher than I was using. Good to know, especially with us building out higher margin capacity at Thutse.

I took a look at his timeline when he first showed up and it’s the same on every board that he infests, not worth bothering with. I’ve been invested here during the dark days when Mushinge was attempting to blackmail the company, when Colin Bird tried to pull a fast one, before the Anglo JV was signed… all because I feel very strongly that Arc are sitting on what might be another Sentinel, Lumwana or Kansanshi… maybe more than one!

I wouldn’t fall for that guess the SP game, you see derampers doing that old ruse all over these boards. It’s a game they can’t lose because if they are wrong they will be long gone and it won’t matter to them. If like last time they get lucky and guess right, they get to crow about it for as long as they stick around. It’s like Bushy’s price predictions… if you thrown enough of them out there one is bound to be right and of course thats the one you later use, forgetting all the rest. He’s like a third rate Paul Daniels.

Given all of the data so far, the geochemical data, the copper-scandium assays, the EM and gravity data, the drilling results, the location…. ALL point to there being significant mineralisation within the licenses at multiple locations… what are the chances of Anglo turning up nothing of significance? Slim at best I would say.

I do hope for their own sakes these trolls are not stupid enough to believe their own hype 😂

The drill locations along the Cheyeza East fault zone are already established over a length of 5-6km with clear tracks between each one. That should do to be getting on with!

I’ve marked off the ones that expired already. You can see that the remaining ones are at a much higher exercise price than the current SP so unlikely to be exercised any time soon.

These are the warrants that I can see which have been issued in the last year:

Peterhouse will be issued with 6,250,000 warrants @ 0.12p exercise price

89,285,714 Placing Warrants will be issued @ 0.28p exercise price

Peterhouse will also be issued with 8,928,571 warrants @ 0.14p exercise price

Board of the Company granted a total of 12,000,000 five-year warrants @ 0.1225p exercise price

A total of 125,000,000 Placing Warrants will be issued @ 0.24p exercise price

Peterhouse will be issued with 16,250,000 new ordinary shares and 8,125,000 warrants on the same terms as those issued in the Placing (Above)

Peterhouse will also be issued with 12,500,000 warrants @ 0.12p exercise price.

I don’t see many of those warrants being taken up and sold on until the SP is quite a bit higher, otherwise they would make nothing or even lose money on the sale.

God loves a trier apparently… not so sure about that in our case!

Everyone will have their own strategy for investing / trading, I’ve learned not to worry about day to day changes on no news, I’m invested here for the potential multibagger. If you worry about every little up or down you are never going to get those big rewards. Obviously each strategy comes with its own risks but with the volumes being traded here people are not making much on the ups and downs…. Is it really worth it?

I think these derampers are working together to try and force the price down and trigger some sells. It would be nice to catch them out by buying up those shares that they just dumped! I’ve got a few quid burning a hole in my pocket 😁

Nelson, I have no doubt that there are derampers here who are employed by LSE or at least have access to admin login details. I’ve challenged one in the past who let me know he could see my personal details which should not be available to general users. It wouldn’t surprise me if one or more moderators is exploiting their position to try and affect SP for their own gain.

I tried Telegram but found that format quite irritating and quickly abandoned that. The only advantage is that anyone trolling gets kicked out of the group pretty quickly.

I was thinking about setting up a Twitter/X circle for those people here who have been genuine investors and contributed to the group in a positive and genuine way. To be honest there are only a handful of people who do that on a regular basis, most people come here to just absorb information or to actively troll / deramp the share or both!

Slater held 121,300,000 (share price ~11p) until September 2021, he then increased his holding substantially to 271,463,789 (announced 21/09/2021, share price ~16p). It remained at that level until 12/12/2023 when it increased to 293,713,789 (share price ~5p). After the placing at 5.5p his shareholding now stands at 364,113,789

Jonah, I was wondering about this expanded sulphide recovery circuit at Sable too. If the modular concentrators are only recovering oxides, with further processing through Roan to recover sulphides… why would you want to have an expanded sulphide recovery circuit at Sable? I’m wondering if this might be the reason (from 22/11/2022 RNS):

“ Direct leaching of copper sulphide from mixed copper concentrates achieved at operational scale on a sustainable basis, resulting in improved recoveries on overall copper treated. This process by-passes the need for traditional power intensive smelting of copper sulphide concentrates, offering additional growth opportunities from Sable's operational capability from the processing of mixed copper oxide and copper sulphide concentrates”

In other words they are leaching sulphides from mixed ores and processing it to copper cathode along with the oxides.

I agree with you up to a point Lantier but I don’t think it’s quite as binary as they will or they won’t. As WH Ireland stated in their research note:

“ On the full conclusion of the Anglo JV, the ZCP will have been significantly advanced and we foresee one of three outcomes;

i) a major discovery is made and ARC owns 30% of a project of significant value

ii) ARC has a 30% interest in a significantly derisked copper project too small for the mining majors but of significantly value to a mid-cap or junior miner, or

iii) no significant discovery is made.

History shows that the first outcome would result in a significant value uplift for ARC, the second outcome would also accrete significant value to ARC and its shareholders. We also believe that the third outcome should be viewed positively; having secured significant upfront cash payments that will maintain the business and fund future endeavours, the ZCP would have evaluated and derisked by an expert team at no cost to ARC. ”

There was some talk about the SP in relation to metals prices which seem to have disappeared. I was going to post this anyway but it's relevant to that post.

You can see that apart from a boost in SLP SP due to positive news it has tracked the same as JLP. Why is this relevant? SLP is a pure play PGM producer, I believe they are trying to get into chrome as well but that is some way off. So if the share price of both companies is tracking the same... what conclusion should we draw from that? Jubilee is increasing chrome production and more importantly, chrome margins. Copper will hopefully be contributing much more this year. Something clearly doesn't add up!

We don’t know how much input Jubilee have had to the modular concentrators, it might be that they are just using Bond for manufacturing or it might have been a collaboration. The concentrator part is just one aspect of the process, you still need to go through the chemical extraction process to turn the oxide ores into A grade cathode.
