Yes if a nomad is appointed,they could ask for the shares to remain suspended while their financial position is clarified.i don't expect the court hearing before the 24 ,I think they can remain in suspension up to 6 months.The company usually requests a suspension.frr situation is unusual in that the nomad resignation has caused the suspension.
Although I dont understand why nobody wants a quick tanking in sp prior to a settlement and a chance to get a cheap top up .surely if frr is going to be flying a short term collapse in sp would be good for a quick killing.would have thought rainbow man would love that.no?

Ok,just talked to the share centre.they get notification direct from the lse.seems not only did they get the date wrong,but the part about advanced notice.I think they will have had their notice on 27 ,next trading day.

The part that got my attention was the advanced notice.just the messenger.busy today but may phone them later to try and clarify.

I make 27 the first trading dayafter xmas.

Just posting what I have just received.it does slightly contradict the rns.that is why I posted.

Just had my letter from share centre .says 30 days to remove shares within 30 days of de listing.It also says cairn served advanced notice to terminate its engagement with the company as its current nomad and joint broker.
The termination was made with immediate effect from 27 december2018.if the company fails to appoint a new nomad by 27 jan2019 the lse will suspend trading in the companies shares.
One point yet again ,there are examples of extension granted if discussion are ongoing with a nomad ,so I believe there is a week or twos leeway imo.

Bottom.yes toll mining would be very good news.I like producers presently .cey doing ok now aaz done very well,jury out on hum but reckon they could motor with good news.being on the road to getting gold out of the ground asap has to be good for sp.

Been thinking on the same lines.Delisted we still retain our shares.regulation is less but business carries on.As you say if there was a sale,we would recieve either cash,shares in the takover or a combination of both.one example I know of is jupiter mines.although listed on asx they chose to delist as they considered the market didn't reflect the true value.They relisted at a significantly higher spsome years later.they have gradually dropped back.while de listed there was a private market for shares but in reality very few trades.they did actually pay a couple of dividends while delisted
.as with jms I think some companies arrange a system for private trades.
No1 priority is a result in court .
