But frenchie,I am not and never have been on here slagging off the company.and lets get one thing straight its not hindsight .about 10 months ago while many on here were moaning about the s and mc and the sp was just below 40 p I was buying and posting it was a good time to buy.I now think we are also in buying territory and stating so.there have been a number of opportunities .I mentioned to pat that it is worth trading some of his holding when we were in the eighties and again around 68 p when he was having one of his turns.that wasn't hindsight ,it was giving constructive advice to somebody who seemed to be very worried about his mistake and probably paid too much attention to posters foretelling huge gains,we will be sold by this time next year.
My post was in response to slims post.my point is you have to be pro active with your investment.the only large significant rises cnr have seen in the last 6 years were 3 years ago in similar circumstances to now, where we went from 18 p to 60p pretty fast and after consolidation.I see the drops as the sensible time for buying and when there are good rises sell some.It isnt luck ,it is taking a calculated gamble.I have been invested in cnr since .95 p,one of the longest holders here I suspect.I said I expected mellon to buy weeks before he did and stated a half day before the rns that I believed mellon was buying.none of this is hindsight.I am not a trader, but sometimes it makes sense to buy and sometimes to sell.I too am positive for gold this year.
