Fut ,What I doubt you will find is an example of the nomad resigning with immediate effect causing suspension and a replacement being found.this is a rare occurrence .your post backs up the fact that the number of nomads is shrinking.
Cairn resigning immediately was a hammer blow but you would think the situation would have been foreseen by the company ,despite the tweet on 24.

Could you clear up whether the injunction is in place until appeal,likely april hearing or until the next hearing for damages .cheers red

No loss.there it is near the end of jan there is no appeal listed yet and no confirmation that one has been lodged.there has though been a hearing listed and carried out for the fiduciary claim.why did yj confirm that the injunction remains after the recent hearing

Star,we are near the end of jan now and there is no appeal listed and no confirmation that frr have lodged one.just an intention to.the next hearing has been and the injunction remains until next hearing in feb which will be the fiduciary claim.

Zen,so are you saying frr have launched an appeal?it may well make no difference but I disagre with your reading of the injunction.it says it stays till the next hearing not the appeal.it absolutely doesnt say that the injunction stays in place on grounds of appeal or until the appeal.maybe insignificant maybe not.

Zen,it is rns in nov 24 that hope applies for the injunction to be discharged a hearing in dec although no date declared.18 dec was the declared date for hope to present his defence of the fiduciary case.the judge obviously heard hopes application to discharge the injunction at this date also.the rns 24 does not state that the injunction is re aplied pending appeal at all.that is an assumption.It states that the cayman court "also" ordered that the injunction stay in place until the next hearing.we have just had the next hearing and the injunction remains in place until the next hearing which infers it was reviewed.note the word also!rns does not state injunction re aplied on grouhds of appeal.
The hearing on 17 jan has to be directional hearing for fiduciary claim.appeal heard in appeal court which sits 3 times a year.

Star, cheers.there is a difference and better for frr that they are linked imo.

Jms shares were able to be traded during this period on a matched basis but I think very few trades happened .very hard to establish a price.you will read that this does happen depending on the company.frr can set up a system for private trades if de list happens.so any one with big cahunas could load up during this period possibly.all riding on the court imo.

One example of de listing and re listing .rrr have a holding in jupiter mines.they are listed on asx but a reasonable example although different circumstances.They delisted because their sp was being pulverised and not reflecting value.they de listed around 7c I think.they paid good dividends after a couple of years then re listed at 40c.they have since dropped back.It may suit frr to de list but doesnt necessarilly mean the end.If frr are where some believe re funding bp etc frr should be able to progress.You become holders in a private company.of course they can re list and if a deal is done with a super major maybe not on aim.The guessing game continues.

They were two seperate cases .the injunction is now in regard to the fiduciary case.The appeal may well come after the fiduciary case and the injunction continue to appeal.

Star I think it is an assumption that the injunction was re instated on appeal.it is in place to the next hearing just like it again is imo.

Ever since the dec 24 rns I have thought the wording re the injunction odd.to me the injunction since 18 has been linked to the fiduciary case.the appeal if lodged could cover beyond the fiduciary case imo if needed. ?

Northland are in the process of merging with angel.not all of the 30 nomads deal with oil and gas so it is a big ask with everything else going on and holidays.I believe there can be extensions.still not too confident for tomorrow.But as mole has said the court case is the all important part.lose that and everything else is irrelevant.If the ny funding is ready to go and the court case is positive frr are ready to go,de listed or no.obviously peoples isa are a worry but not as much a worry as a wipeout.heres hoping for tomorrow.

That is pretty much what I was expecting prior to the speculation last night.It has seemed fairly obvious to me that the injunction is linked to the fiduciary case.the appeal maybe a fall back position for after the fiduciary claim.this looks like it may rumble on for some time.all eyes on tomorrow.

I bought in here as a punt just under.30 nearly two years ago.I have bought on a number of ocassions and have sold a couple of times.over that period the sp has been north of my initial buy for most of that time.Aim shares rarely hold large gains for long so it is sensible to sell and re buy when the opportunity arises.I have done that a couple of times .frr has been to .80 and .50 from.20 .so there have been times when the sp has risen sharply over this period.it was a punt for me but the news coming out was encouraging.I almost sold on the week of the hearing but unfortunately ignored my natural caution.
IF,we come out of this the otherside ,and the loan and bp become confirmed I would imagine the sp flying .However there are quite a few things to line up so I remain cautious having been here before a couple of times.but hopeful

Nice info on axs.I think it will be a big growth area.I am fairly traditional in my timbers but will try it out but can see its merits.
On tw ,I had a great run with tw and barrats buying in the last recession .I just got the heebie geebies and thought I would cash in and see how things pan out.kept some barrats.still have the feeling that things may well take a nose dive.bought some centamin in the 90s.good dividend there too.
