Munch ,shg also pulled off a cheap deal for 1 m plus high grade ozs .A lot depends where gold heads over the next year or two imo . There are various conflicting examples to use .personally I am more cautious with cnr valuation than many here until production and a production date but still reckon sub 40 p is a decent price to be in at . 40- 70 p is a reasonable return target short term ,anything more a nice bonus for me . I remember you being quizzing about my hum buys around 15/16 p .I think they may really move over the next couple of years .
Of course bargains get snapped up first but then what when producers are awash with cash ? There is a bubble waiting to happen imo and best be prepared to take advantage of it .

Good bit of realism mole as usual .Is there a theory as to why it was a good idea not to return the unexplored land when due and avoid arbitration in the first place ?

Older , we seem to be in a few of the same shares . Had a holding here for a fair while without really posting but good to see some movement .

Isa , I wondered a couple of days ago when a couple of large buys appeared if he was on the buy . Jim has a habit of buying at close to lows , while many are bemoaning the sp ignoring the buy oportunity . Its all good . wonder if any more buys are coming from him .last time we had a cluster .It can only be a positive for holders . Jim could be loading up for the short term rather than the longterm . Interesting 6 months to come .

Ok last time on this one . Slippy ,you cannot possibly defend a price prediction of 393 p a month after permits in 2018 by using a 7 month period for amc and an intra day high when the peak sp is 38 p . You fail to mention that when amc spiked it fell off a cliff little more than a month after permits . doing well today around 2 p now though .
It is a completely flawed method and the fact that cnr was in the 30 s not 393s a month after permits is the the proof . You used the wrong part of your research .If you had looked at the period beyond a month you would have been nearer to predicting the cnr share price . It was a ridiculous prediction slippy end of .
Overly optimistic sp predictions is the reason many end up spiked and locked in for years in shares including this one .
Anyhow looking good today and glad to have added a few yesterday .

slperry , a prediction of £3-3.50 for a buyout when in production sounds like a mealy mouthed admission that your prediction of 3.93 two years ago on receipt of permits was rather ridiculous . ; ) .

Slippy , somewhat more realistic than your previous prediction . When production happens anything is possible depending on number of shares and gold price but that is 2 years away min .of course a bid could come before then .

El,correction to my post ,calibre has trebled but sp prior to the deal hadnt been seriously in decline hence their m cap parity with cnr at end of 2018 . Anyhow ,their sp appreciation since the b 2 deal has been very good . Would be happy if cnr matched it . My point was that many questioned that calibre deal at the time . Anyhow we are at a very interesting point presently awaiting news with a gold price we could only dream of 2 years ago .

Bd , cnr has spent a lot of time in the down cycle but it should be noted that rises from lows of 18 p to 60 p twice in the last 4 years have been rapid . I think sub 40- 60/70 p will happen fairly quickly . Not saying larger gains are out of the question but I like to take one step at a time . With the gold price heading through $1800 it all looks positive but there are of course always unknown risks .I wouldnt be surprised to see a sudden short term drop in gold like in march . In which case producers will drop like a stone .took a while to pull cnr back in march but eventually stopped our stay in the 30 s .
We really still waiting on land purchase and definitive mine plan and finance and of course possible toll deal .I know that has been rumbling on for an age but is still possible .

E lion . Yes large dilution but the sp has trebled since the buy and if you bought two years ago you have a very serious multibagger .unfortunately I didnt lol .
Deadly ,I think most of us know the relation ship of m cap to sp .thats why although our sp is close to what it was two years ago but twice as many shares . Check calibre sp a year ago and two years ago .

Anybody have figures for how many actual senators support sanctions . Georgia is geo politically important to the us ,if the g d win the election this bill will sink without a trace imo .

Geovanni . Just goes to show .many on here were questioning calibres deal with b2 gold ,saying it was a poor deal and aguila suggesting it wouldnt even finalise . They had a m cap the same as cnr less than 2 years ago ,both at around £14 at the low point .They paid less than $100m dollars ,some now deferred .
For sure we have to be on their radar but I would also imagine that they wont want to be restricted to one country as they expand . Calibre seem to have timed their shutdown early in the covid situation to me and may find operating problems that hit revenues further so a toll deal may still be a good option to get back on track although in the poorest country in the region you will always find peole prepared to work .
Sub 40 p shares still looking a decent buy to me .I thought we were breaking out into the forties the other day . Anybody believing in multiples of todays sp should be glad for a little longer to add .

Isa , no .we all have different circumstances and priorities . I work for myself and earn a modest living and looking towards a cheap runabout for retirement in 5-10 years time . I have a mate in tokyo that I visit now and again and would look to import the right vehicle probably .so probably Japanese . The tech and prices should get better so not in a rush .
Sub 40 p is ok .I wont be paying much above . Lot of questions waiting for clarity here this year which will have an impact on sp . I am still more slanted towards producers but happy to also hold a few explorers ,cnr being one for later in the bull market hopefully . Good luck and happy driving .

Costa Rica re aplying restrictions .

Isa , very nice .not in my budget or needs . Will be a few years before I take the plunge but looking for something more utilitarian . Only 6 years into my solar panels so loads of time to go . Good luck with it . I think an electric bike is more in my range . There are some good ones out now .
