I did some more research on this company, because I knew it to be a reputable name, but it seems that the management, in the RNS statements and the like with prospective rights issues, and the comment about shareholder value dwindling, has not inspired much confidence. So, I would think that investors are on a wait-and-see mode, to finally ascertain what management decides to do to plug the accounting gap. So, a lack of clarity, shaky confidence, and some unknown accounting mines that may, or may not, go off. It all adds up to general wariness and uncertainty Only time will tell.. PS - Blue-Boy's remarks regarding the putative Taylor Wimpey analogy is dubious, since that company held true to its inherent strengths in the construction sector, and did not make the mistake of deviating into unrelated ventures. So,take that analogy with a pinch of salt. These two companies 9and their problems) are not, and were not really comparable.
