I don't think wanting more shares at a great price is greedy, it is after all the very definition of buy low and sell high and the whole reason a market exists.

I applied for an extra 2.5K....they have taken the money and that's the number that is showing but I highly doubt that I've actually been given this?

Completely agree, they won’t admit extra shares over and above the offer. The only way we’ll get extra is if some people don’t take them up. I’d be surprised if every shareholder takes them up on the offer so we may get a few, but highly doubtful it will be significant. I’ve applied anyway so let’s see. The way I read the HL was that they would take the money between now and tomorrow and would refund any unused money when the shares are issued, which can be 10 days after the deadline?

To be honest, directors are often not even head of department nowadays, often it goes Dir, then VP, then SVP, then EVP, then C. So director is almost always the lowest management rank...or in the old days, team leader.

Well I did say Middle/Junior. From a c-suite perspective this is a middle management role at best. Senior management is C-Suite and ELT. Director positions are typically first line managers, not managers of managers, which makes them junior.

So yes, this is a junior management position, the 'director' title does not mean what I once did.

Well a director of pre-clinical development is a middle/junior management role confirming what we already know that Avacta have a long pipeline of pre-clinical candidates.

Fearmongering around 'massive discounts' and 'millions of shares being traded' is actually far more pertinent.

Yes the very likely will be, I'm sure some will bank a 20% increase....but for the tiny allocation they'll get it will be hardly worth it. Anyone granted any decent numbers will likely hold as they're clearly a LTH.

I don't understand why you think there will be a fall? The order book which defines the current SP will not change as a result of the transactions. If all of the holders decided to sell their entire allocation...which is extremely unlikely...then it may have a 1% negative impact on the SP.

But they won't be, some people may decide to cash in 20%, but as the only people that were eligible were existing holders and they are only likely to be granted a tiny percentage of their holding I highly doubt that anywhere near all 2 million shares would be traded. And....0.75% of the total Mcap....tiny.

Sorry I may have misread the meaning. Either way, those shares will not be shown as trades, it's almost like options being granted at 10p and 'the book' will not log them.
