I’ve IPO’d three companies, hence the name, and I can tell you now that the majority of the time it was our staff that reminded us of the share price when it moved, as a board we’re only really interested in the share price on a daily basis when we’re looking to fundraise or retire. Of course we know what it is roughly, but trust me, any CEO watching the share price daily is not doing their job! He has his plan, he knows the science and he’s put his life behind it…if you’re trading now is a good time to sell, if you’re investing now is a good time to buy.

Neut, no it's not the biggest company in the world and neither would Avacta be. Also that trial only worked on very specific types of cancer, and it's a completely novel treatment.....literally chalk and cheese compared to this.

Whilst I don't agree that this will go to £20 overnight, the news would be sensationalised and the media would get hold of it, the hoard would return and everyone would want a piece of the pie. If this did turn out to be a 'cure' for cancer, it would be mainstream media time, and then I have no idea what the sentiment would take the price too, we don't need commercials and licensing deals for that to happen, although I believe they would come very quickly indeed.
