they will push down all oily shares today as much as the market will stand but sooner or later they will have to release the SP otherwise they kill the golden goose. Hopefully tomorrow we will see a bounce back on the shares as the MMs do a 180 turn,

SP is up 140% in a year - why all the long faces ?

JLIF - A big company being bought out for cash at a 20% premium to Friday`s SP also a 4% dividend to be paid - all subject to due diligence checks and shareholder agreement - mergers and acquisitions are at an all time high at the mo as the world is awash with cash looking for a good home. PMO must be in the sights soon for a takeover offer - although our BOD is totally against it - but if an offer came along our SP would rocket up to the price offered for the shares.

Pokerchips - one trillion extra trade dollars (internal and external) was a quote from the US Fed. Ordinary citizens will see a cash inject to their pay packets (like our chancellors have given) but will pay a lot more for Trump`s increased import taxes on world exports to the USA.

In the 19th century Robert Peel (a conservative PM) saw the evil effect of the so called "Corn Laws" (they included corn and maize) which were a high tariff on imported grain to keep the cost high for Tory landowners. Bread became so expensive that the poor could only afford to buy half a loaf at a time saying "Half a loaf is better than none" Peel had to recruit the support of the Whig opposition to pass his repeal of the Corn Laws - but the price of bread dropped dramatically as millers were able to buy cheap grain imports and passed on the benefit to customers. Peel had to buy off the landowners with subsidies to support their incomes.

Trade tariffs hit the poorest much more than the wealthy in a society and the State will have to pay more to support the poor.

Strange world where Traitor May is spending £10 billion on the new aircraft carriers and buying F35s for £120million each and pressing on with HS2 and HS3 at a cost of £100 billion and also updating our nuclear submarines for £30 billion whilst giving away £13 billion in overseas aid mainly to the 10 most corrupt govts in the world - top recipient Pakistan which has its own 70 nuclear warheads and a space programme ! On the other hand we have 20% (13 million) of our own people living at or below the poverty line and we need £10 billion to fill the pot-holed roads and the NHS is desperate for cash. Traitor May is also giving the EU £39 billion to "get out of the EU jail"

HOC is well under valued now IMO - it should be holding about 190p but there are only 54 trades today so far - so unless HOC can attract a lot more traders the SP will probably drift down a bit more. The lynch-pin will be the Half Year Report on Wednesday - if we get good news on the Arcata mine recovery programme and Ag and Au sales much higher and at premium prices I do not see a rush of investors to buy HOC shares. On the good side - debt is negligible - production is high and increasing - grades of Ag and Au are higher - sales are higher. If the Trump factor does scupper world trade HOC SP will rise rapidly - the only thing holding up world finances at the mo is Trump`s massive tax cuts to USA companies and individuals - which will add one trillion dollars to US world debts.

174p is a good level to buy and hold - the lowest I bought HOC two years ago was at 165p on the rise to about 330p. History should repeat itself IMO

Piebleens - I am very happy with my paper gains so far on PMO - intial purchase was 65p then in and out - my 131p buy today is looking good. I am holding in the ISA and day trading in a SDA so I have a foot in both camps ! It would be great to see 150p by the end of the week but possibly 140p + would be my guesstimate based on the roller coaster daily ride we have.

Piebleens - PMO has a habit of sticking at certain "glass ceiling" SPs - 133p is the sticking point at the mo - until we can break up into the 140s we will be yoyoing around the 133p level - my eyeball prediction is that the SP could reach 200p by Xmas - barring bad news like

1. Trump declares thermo-nuclear trade war on the world with EU as the number one target

2. May signs the new Treaty of Versailles agreeing unlimited reparations for BREXIT - main beneficiaries our traditional "friends" in Europe Germany France and Spain - notwithstanding 2 World wars against Germany - hundreds of years of war against France and Spain - May to be Gauleiter of the new German province of Anglo-Saxonia

3. Parliament continues to ignore voters wishes and 850 unelected political dictators in the House of Lords demand a return of the UK on any conditions to control of the Brussels unelected political commisars

4. Traitor May resigns and a new General Election votes for the "People`s Republic of UK" - Folk Leader Corbyn takes power - aristocrats and other rich and powerful citizens (excluding politicians) to be imprisoned and stripped of all their wealth.

5. 1984 now renamed 2018 and the "Big Brother State" is introduced.

I could not resist the 130p SP - bought two lots - average 131p total cost for £33K

GL all - Mondays are normal a dismal day for the SP but usually finishes in the blue

same old game - SP 130p now - will rise later IMO

If you had bought PMO shares 3 months ago and ignored ups and downs in the SP you would now be 71% better off - straight average of 6% per week. If you had bought at end of May you would have seen a weekly variation of +7% +6% -8% +9% +5% +12% - a weekly average of +5%. Of course if you had day traded and dodged the mid June -8% you would have been a bit better off but the -8% was the following week cancelled out by a +9% rise. These are FACTS not hopeful guesses.

So will the constant rises continue ? IMO yes they will but each trading day is different and the roller coaster SP will continue but I think the trend is to continue to average upwards with sharp rises the day after RNS Updates - Q3 and Q4 are looking good for progress on Tolmount gas and Zama oil progress and further debt paydown. There may be further news on Sea Lion oil but I think this will be low priority for further development unless we get a "Big Boy" buying into the project. Receipts from disposals may come in but they will be small fry compared to the "Big Four" -- Catcher - Tolmount - Zama and Sea Lion

Bear13 - Inshallah ! I am 72 years young so looking beyond 12 months is tempting fate IMO but if I do survive 2018 I intend to keep holding PMO till 2022 (trading in and out on possible good/bad news) Barring another BP type oil rig disaster there is no reason at all why PMO cannot get back to the £3 to £5 level by end 2022.

Regards - another good week on the SP - PMO is much more reliable than all the AIM shares and most other commodities shares IMO

Bear13 - I have never been more positive about the future on any other share in the longer term. I have always been a short term raider before and most times I have had a lot of luck. I was looking at possibly buying BP shares at 650p (for the high dividend) just before the Gulf of Texas oil rig disaster but a little voice in my brain said "NO NO" When the SP dropped down to about 300p I bought £40K of BP shares - a millionaire friend of mine said I was mad - BP would be taken out in a hostile bid but I said that I only wanted a 10% profit and I sold out soon after and have not been back. I find that if you are not too greedy you can do well in properly researched share buying.

I have traded in and out of PMO over the years and I still day trade on volatile days I am happy with 5% profit on £40K invested and have managed to avoid the big drops in SP - buying back in at lower prices. Fingers crossed that my luck will hold !

At the mo we are 13% up on last Friday close - ignore the daily ups and downs - unless you are day trading - PMO average has been in the blue for 2 years now and IMO there is no reason the SP cannot keep rising at an average 6% to 10% each week.

I know of no reason for the continuing slow drop in SP apart from Arcata mine being a bit of a dead leg this year. I have been in and out of HOC over the last 3 years and am still well in profit - although I was very upset with old man HOC when he stabbed us in the back to sell millions of shares and reduce his holding down to 51% - no doubt he has been awarded a lot more free shares annually to give him another opportunity to make millions selling when HOC gets back up to the 300 level again !

Next week the RNS on the 18th should give us some solid info to judge whether the SP is likely to rise or just continue to drift but IMO buying at 175 or less will not lose you massive amounts of your cash

TCF - over the last 2 years the SP average has been in the blue one week - one month - six months - one year and two years. TD has little charisma but he HAS kept his promises and is still forecasting 2.5 x EBITDA for the end of Q1 2019. If we got rid of him we could do a lot worse - like the CEO on UKOG who has bags of charisma but has seen the UKOG SP go up from 1p to 11p last year then back down to 1p this year and now it is struggling to hold 2.4p I bought UKOG last year at 1.8p then sold at 8p when I saw the big drop set in. I do not see any big drop coming for PMO as we have a strong financial tail wind and all sails are set heading towards the golden sunrise !

Another golden sunrise coming through my window today - time to resuscitate the garden flowers and shrubs again !

In the last RNS it seems that PMO hedging has improved - 2018 H2 now 40% at $60 then 2019 H1 now 26% at $66 then 2019 H2 12% at $68. This will give a real boost to PMO income if we maintain $70 +++ which seems likely.
