Yes, I also have bought about 3 months ago at 193 and sold at 220. Then bought back just before it went ex-d at 205. Topped up twice after ex-d to bring my average down to 191. So, now I am in red!! Hope to see it to rebound tomorrow. Have a good evening and good luck mate.

In fact they did say in the final results that the company will pay an interim for the first half of 2023 but didn't say how much. Perhaps 20 or maybe 30p??

So, at last night's closing price, it will yield 6.36%(80p) to 7.17%(90p), still quite a high return though.

NO! you don't get the dividend if you have bought the shares today!

Well, it's pretty simple really. Shares bought before it goes ex-dividend will get the dividend. Shares bought after it has gone ex-dividend, you don't get the dividend. Therefore if you have bought on Wednesday then you will get the dividend but if you have bought the shares yesterday or today then you don't. Because the share has already gone ex-dividend. The price you paid for does not include the dividend anymore. Hope that this will help.

Well, it does seem so, went over £2 briefly but the day traders are busy at work though. It drops back so quickly.

Good job that I have topped up twice after it went ex-dividend at 184.6 and 180.2. Now, let's hope that it will climb its way back to over £2....GLA
