RE: Good finish in the US....2 Apr 2022 08:54
Hi CSDI, how are you and your Mrs doing? I thought you are enjoying your trouble and worries free life. So you can't resist the temptations and come back to the share trading again then huh? lol. Well, welcome back nonetheless comrade, my friend.
With the average of 337p, seems that you are a late comer but not too late! I am in deep water myself too. Already a holder before all these madness with my first small(only 932 shares) purchase @1555p after it went ex-divi and saw it dropping all the way down to just 90p without doing anything just like a statue, ouch! Then I started to average down but my average is still 290p though, not much better than you..... hahahaha...
...but POLY will come out good. There are many reasons why I am feeling calm and confident:
1) POLY is a Russian company but it is registered in Jersey with its headquarters in Cyprus. Also it has no connection with all of those Russian Oligarchs. That's the reason why the company isn't sanctioned.
2) POLY has near half of it assets and operations outside of Russia, which alone worth at least £5, 6 or even 7 per share if the entire Russian operations are being confiscated by Putin.
3) From the last RNS, all POLY's operations are near to normal almost unaffected by all the latest situations. They can still keep going with their daily production and sell its gold freely.
4) POLY has $400m cash and $500m credit facilities with unsanctioned bank(s), which can keep them going for the next 12 months and beyond. I also think that they can re*****h their cash burn by earnings from their near to normal daily operations. Therefore the company is financially healthy and strong!!!
5) POLY's shares are trading at over £8 at MOEX and £3.43 to £3.66 in the US!!
6) POLY's management is excellent. They are keeping their shareholders well informed and clarify rumours as quickly as possible. It's truly a very well run company.
7) The war can't keep on going forever. It is expensive and Putin knows it too. He wants to end it as soon as possible. When this is all over then POLY will be back to normal. Maybe it won't go back to £16/17 but £10/12 is absolutely no problems.
Therefore, holders of this share should stay calm and sit back to wait for its recovery. Just stay away from this BB if you can't stand all those silly noises from some of the posters with their own agendas.
Good luck my friend and wish you all the very best. Talk again soon.
