Hi parity mate, lgen will go ex-divi on this Thursday but you won't get the divi until May 27. By then the SP will probably already recover or has gone higher than now.

If you want to take advantage of the ex-divi price drop then you must have some spare cash ready now and I wish you the very best of luck.

Well, since the price of the new shares for the placing have been set at 102p. It's a very tiny discount to the current SP. Unless GSF share price carry on rising until April 27 when the new shares start trading. Otherwise, if it stays at this level then the dilution will be very small.

Nope, it finished in the red because POG is down.... let's hope that tomorrow will be a better day.

Stock markets react before not during or after the event, which means it's already priced in.....Now we have to wait and see how TED will do after this terrible pandemic.

Lol, my idea was to push up my income yield. Now over 6%, which I am quite happy with it now. Only one of them that's VOD, my biggest loser will be the next one to be axed soon......hahahaha

Well, just like you, I am really a poor investor. This is one of my sick dogs as well and second biggest holding of my p/f(18.11%). Only just managed to break even last week(only just, average 898p, lol) but very easily this will drop below that again any time. Hahahaha.

Also, I have redone my portfolio in the last three months. Sold GGP, SLA, RDSB and GSK. Bought AV, IMB, POLY, GSF and topped up LGEN and M&G. Now my overall p/f average is over 6%. Think I'll relax and leave them just like that for the time being. I hope that you are doing well with yours too.

I think poly is too sensitive to the POG. If the POG stop declining or start to rise then poly SP will sure to move up at the same time.

Well, not all cash, AV still got net debt of £11.125b at the end of 2020! But cash in hand and at bank has gone up since the end of 2020 as well. They sold two businesses, one in Poland for €2.7b and one in Italy for €450m. That's roughly about £2.8b added on the £16.9b. AV's cash mountain would be about £19.7b now.
