It might explain the different wording of the MOU with omnivision, I believe we were working with CAE before the takeover anyway and this product has clearly been well received. Paul says aviation is on the horizon so maybe we shouldn’t get too excited about it just now, although it would be awesome if this put a few million in the profit column.

Why aren’t the contracts being announced then? Smart eye was supposed to be working with nvidia with the Xavier processor, but we seem to be working with mercedes and nvidia so who knows? Colin thinks smart eye, but he also thought smart eye was in the EQS, so he can be wrong.

Volvo’s Highway Pilot looks set to enter production in 2022 on the flagship XC90 model, with the Scalable Product Architecture 2 (SPA2) platform set to be rolled out to all Volvo models in subsequent years. Volvo has recently announced further details of the SPA2 platform, which is now set to use both the Xavier and Orin processors from Nvidia. My assessment is that SPA2 is likely to be a win for Aptiv, with DMS software provided by Smart Eye.

Fleet happened, the guy running it obviously communicated a better outcome than what actually happened, the broker will project figures on the figures they’re given, he was sacked, but that didn’t help us. The size of the addressable market is huge and we should be in over 50k vehicles by now, but until companies are made to do things, they won’t.
I believe there is an issue with drivers being fatigued and the companies know this because they’re working 12+ hours a day, maybe not driving all those hours, but they’re loading/unloading etc etc.
The sooner this is addressed the better, for all road users and our SP.

Oh dear. History repeating

Not really as it went up to 11.5ish twice and has been ticking down since the middle of may when all this talk about inflation started in the US. I think that has been the catalyst, but as I said before it seems to be the cycle we go into and no good news stops it, how many times have we had a good rns and everyone has blamed the company for not making it exciting enough? The facts are in there, yet the price goes down, in my 8 years here there has not been many bad RNSs, in general its all been adding to the value of the company imo. Here we are again though, i do regret not top slicing at 12p AGAIN, I now worry about how the market will react to the end of year rns if this is how it reacts to the news of a 1m aviation deal and naming Mercedes as a customer.

Funny that there is 10bn war chest for cruise autonomous robotaxis more jigsaw bits.
