Over 300 odd posts here today… that’s just crazy 🙈🙈😂😂

As long termers we have seen it all before, have done our research, and know that this time it is 100% different so are not concerned with the daily movements or with all the crap that’s being posted here at the moment…..

We may get positive feedback from the China visit, we may not, but as I sure night follows day, Phulbari and open out mining will be discussed! Imvho

- We know that even the interim government are now in favour of open pit mining at Philbari

- we know there was a recent seminar on Bangladesh mining its own coal and that Phulbari and GCm was mentioned over and over and confirmed that Phulbari was the only mine ready to go, in fact it was a lot of GCM’s data that was used in the presentation!

- We know from this seminar that there is a mining company sitting in the wings ready to invest $15 billion into the project …. The company name is still to be confirmed …

- we know that both of the political parties leading the polls in Bangladesh to become the next government are in favour of using the countries own resources and Phulbari coal…

- we know that we expect the elections to be in December and if delayed will be early next year

- we all know that this project is of such a magnitude, that if we get the green light, we will see triple figures

- we know from how the share price swings by such high percentages that there are very few shares available in the open market place

- May long term share holders have over the years, have been lucky enough to build substantial holdings here, which is why they are not here shouting all day…

- we know that there are now many triggers that could and will send the share price ballistic,.

- we know that there is a placing coming up some time before July,

But as holders who have done their research, we all know this ….

Just sit back, relax and build your position, trade, or sell, just do what ever takes your fancy..

But imo, I would not want to be without holding some of these in the bottom draw, for when that news does come ….

Then you will see how this share price can really swing 😂😂😂

The reason long termers are not here all day shouting and screaming about the old articles and info being posted and the share price is because it really does not matter at this moment in time, how ever frustrating it may be….

Yunus' China visit to be 'very productive': envoy

Chinese Ambassador to Bangladesh Yao Wen today today said Chief Adviser Prof Mohammad Yunus' visit to China would be "very successful, productive and a milestone visit" with some announcements.

Regarding the announcement, he said, "Wait and see. We are still working on it."

He said a big focus will be given on relocation of Chinese factories to Bangladesh to make the country a manufacturing hub.

Really interesting article…… There is no way that China would be encouraging all this investment if it did not think it had the electricity in the future to power them!!!

Yunus, may not any longer have a choice in deciding … to be honest, I don’t really mind, obviously June would be amazing, but after so many years, I’m just as happy with December ….

CPGCL rejects 63,000-tonne coal shipment over soil contamination

The Coal Power Generation Company Limited (CPGCL) has rejected a 63,000-tonne coal shipment after detecting excessive soil contamination in the consignment meant for the Matarbari Power Plant in Cox’s Bazar.

Following the decision, the coal-laden vessel was sent back to the outer anchorage of Chattogram port, CPGCL sources confirmed.

if this story is not exaggerated by the indian press then it actually could be really good news for us. the army chief has already stated that he has no interest in being in control, and that he wants elections sooner rather than later, and that if yunus did not get control within the country and get his **** in gear to sort out the elections, he would step in and make sure it was implemented, so actually this could be really positive for us, and could bring the elections forward … maybe even as early as june which was a date implied last week 🤔

Bangladesh's Information Adviser urges all to prepare for polls by December

Bangladesh's Information Adviser Mahfuj Alam on Friday said the elections will be held in December as scheduled and urged all parties to prepare for it, according to a media report.

Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus said that the election will be held on time. It is scheduled for the end of this year, in December. A timeline has already been set, and the election will take place within that timeframe. Everyone should start preparing for it, Mahfuj said.
