My hope lies with GSK/sanfoni which should be reporting on the vaccine that they have developed soon.. although obviously any vaccine that helps to stave off this virus will be great.
Then I can watch Liverpool again, on tv or byway of the ticket draws.

Remember that GSK has three collaborations with 1 Chinese ,Clover. 2 French, Sanfoni . and 3 Canadian , Medicago. So hopefully one or more will come through.

What will happen, Pfizer vaccine will be given to hospital staff care homes as well. As soon as the AstraZeneca Jenner vaccine is given the go ahead that will be given to the general population as it’s cheaper and far easier to distribute. The uk does not need permission from the FDA to use AstraZeneca vaccine in the uk . If the FDA want to **** about on wether they will allow AstraZeneca to use the vaccine in there country that’s up to them. But I would not be surprised if they said no going by the United States response with dealing with covid so far . I thought the uk wasn’t great but compared to the USA the uks been far better. Big part of this is down to the Donald hero worshipers.

AstraZeneca are not selling it it’s all covered by the government funding. Let’s hope in the future when budgets are announced that science gets the funding it needs rather than the pitiful handouts it’s got in the past .

Denby69 you lucky git. I bought @ 610 and sold at 78 lost 1 grand but I learnt a lesson don’t trust brokers. It like the company I use they recommend their own funds which are crap or have high annual fees . I buy my own rather than let these bookies sell me one of their portfolios . Always believe in yourself so that it all goes pear shaped you don’t have to spit chips at anyone but yourself. :-)

Yes, I remember well these broker notes like when they said glencore was worthless and the sp dropped from about 600p down to 66p then a few weeks later went back up. NEVER trust brokers, they are there to get your money.

CDS162. If you want to make money over the next 5 years in my view buy a good greater China or Asia fund now. Most of my funds are in Asia . And I just follow the well known ones . Not investment trusts though.
