Blinking Synairgen dropped so will have to wait a bit so I can bail out for a smaller loss and add here IF the sp stays below 500.

Well I’ve got 75% of my portfolio in funds of which I have 14. The other 25% is in shares of which 17% is in gsk which gives me £1000 odd div per annum I’ve had 3 annual payouts which adds to over £3000 the sp has dropped but taking into my payout I’m more or less even and the sp has more chance of going up than down in my view.
Also sales definitely will not damage gsk after the split . As Dogsinbrazil says why buy Unilever or reckitt when you can have the biggest on the planet
For sales and revenue. No brainier. Especially as it’s such a great buy opportunity right now. Have a good look at Pfizer’s portfolio of drugs etc which will be added to GSKs.

Pfizer vaccine will be in hospitals within a fortnight for staff and patient’s . AstraZeneca /Jenner depending on uk approval which should be okd as it at least 70% effective, probably by April /May from what I’ve read. (Flu vaccines are approved upwards of 50% ). The AstraZeneca/Jenner vaccine will I suspect be 90% effective after they do further investigations over the next month or so. And it can be stored at lower temps as we all have read .

Well there is one thing I am sure about and that is AstraZeneca Jenner vaccine will be approved for use . Although I suspect I will be getting mine April/May. Brilliant.

Think this may be my escape route from a silly buy in Synairgen. If the sp stays still or drops tomorrow.

And I bet the sp stays static. :-) No not really. with major shares it’s always time in the market. GSK have a lot going for them and that’s why I’m pretty confident over the long run they will come good. Even if the sp went up to 20 quid I won’t be selling as the div is great and I know I keep harping on about it but THE SPLIT will be good for those who hold. The consumer sides sp I think will do better than the vaccine side straight after they split due to the massive amount of drugs toothpaste etc etc that they will be selling. Then I expect the vaccine side to do well .

I think you may be right about a takeover although Oxford biomedica are not (expected) to go into profit for another 2- 3 years I could see one of the big biopharma companies gobbling Oxford up.
Same with Abcam.

Cobbled together. Unbelievable comment, when did you observe them doing this. I suspect there are a lot of scientists working on the AstraZeneca Jenner vaccine who might disagree with your comment.
