Have I missed anything? ;)17 Jan 2022 23:17
Been busy all day so not been able to read/comment until this eve.
Well, what a great day guys. These are the days we enjoy eh! :-)). Just caught up on all of the posts - enjoyable reading.

Read your comments about de-risking. IMO (FWIW), I think you did the right thing. Preserving your capital is more important than the potential missing out on some gains. It's so easy to get caught up in the enthusiasm (and the ramping but I don't believe there's much of that on here as it's such a good opportunity). Getting a virtual free run for 1/3 of your initial holding is a sensible play if the loss of that capital is a material impact to you - there will always be new opportunities. Like a few others, I took a hit on HE1, but I've been fortunate to recover on others and still have my HE1 shares, so waiting for that to play out during this year. Looks like things could be moving there too now.

It doesn't matter how much you've put in kev. We're all in this together and as long as we all make some money that's great. If you get some gains here and then use some of that in another stock and that grows too, you'll be surprised how quick you pot can grow when you compound the gains. Patience in investing is the best long-term strategy IMO (ShareInvestment is a great example of this method by identifying companies with great prospects, getting in early, de-risking where possible and then holding for the medium-term). Some people are in a more fortunate position to be able to have more funds, but shrewd investing can be done from any starting level.

Rocket art to follow in next message ;-). I'll do a big rocket on the results (hopefully anyway).
