Yes, that did also occur to me. I am guilty of posting Linkedin information without removing the identity of the employee. I did feel uneasy about that unless of course it's one of the board members who is generally known to all anyway

UTTER DISGRACE: The NT Government has issued a shock approval for civil works to advance gas fracking activity at Amungee Mungee cattle station in the Barkly region, despite the landowner lodging a Supreme Court claim against Origin Energy for failure to consult over the environmental risks of its activities and calling for a halt to all works.

This damning action shows the NT Government is prepared to side with gas fracking companies in gutting the rights of local landholders, in this case putting a multimillion dollar cattle station business at risk, and the water resources shared by thousands of Territorians.

Tell Environment Minister Eva Lawler this approval is unacceptable! Email minister.lawler@nt.gov.au or call (08) 8946 1512 and leave a message now. Territory landholders need our support to stand up to the gas fracking bullies and protect our agricultural industry for the future. Take action now!

About You

You will bring software and operating systems expertise along with knowledge of camera-based ADAS technologies and demonstrated experience in Automotive electronics development, applications, and customer support. Basic knowledge of computer vision/machine learning and/or existing experience or relationships with local Tier 1 and OEM companies will be an advantage.

Specifically, we are looking for people with:

Experience in Automotive electronics systems and development – including software, hardware and system architecture
Experience with and working knowledge of Infotainment, Driver Information, and/or Advanced Driver Assistance Systems
Experience with and working knowledge of Microprocessor and Microcontroller architectures and applications in Automotive Embedded ECUs

Basic knowledge of vehicle networking and connectivity standards and architectures including CAN, Ethernet, and LVDS (preferred)
Experience with and working knowledge of Automotive embedded SW architectures including common operating systems (Linux, GHS, QNX), multiprocessing methods, software integration, and testing (preferred)
Experience with and working knowledge of the following language: C, C++ and Python. (preferred)
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Excellent technical, written, and verbal interpersonal communication skills with the ability to efficiently communicate complex ideas/requirements
Willingness to travel frequently (on a regular basis within Japan, occasionally to our HQ in Australia, or to the US)
Highly proficient or fluent in English and Japanese languages (spoken and written)

Seeing Machines works with the world's leading automotive OEMs and Tier One suppliers to deliver state-of-the-art driver monitoring technology enabling safer Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and Automated Driving (AD) solutions.

We are searching for an experienced Field Application Engineer to support the successful integration of Seeing Machines DMS technology for Tier 1 and OEM customers.

The Opportunity

Understanding human beings is one of the ultimate machine vision challenges. The integration of effective driver monitoring systems poses one of the most technically challenging problems for automakers, and we are looking for bright business and technical minds to help create those solutions.

You will support the successful integration of Seeing Machines DMS technology and be responsible for customer program support including setup, training, and support of Seeing Machines evaluation and development products and customer specific application development and hardware/software systems integration.

Working closely with the Sales & Marketing/Business Development team and our factory experts/developers, you will be required to establish a common understanding of complex technical topics between globally based customers and Engineering leads in Australia - through expert feedback of requirements gathering and input into the core company technical strategy.

This will involve:

Developing and maintaining expertise on current Seeing Machines DMS technology, products, and services, collaborating closely with CTO, Director of Advanced Engineering and our Chief Engineer.
Local customer (Tier 1 or OEM) technical support for awarded programs including DMS application and system integration support and software integration/issues and system validation.
Analysing and resolving product design and integration issues
Be the “technical face” of the company in high value DMS programs – the local Seeing Machines DMS technology integration and application expert
Application engagement and support related to customer RFI/RFQs
Support of technology setup/demonstration at trade shows or customer venues
