This approval was 2 weeks ago. The fact that it makes reference to 'groundwater monitoring' suggests fracking is planned? I bet we get drilling approval in the next 2 weeks or under. Indeed Origin may have already drilled these bore holes.

I suspect the delay in reporting these EMP updates is to sidestep the LTG and anti-fracking loons

Understand that the order book shows ORDERS (intention to trade) not actual executed TRADES. An order can sit on the book for the entire trading day and it will remain unfilled until it is met

It's the number of Market Markers sat on the touch on either side of the order book (L2)

So 1 v 1 = 1 MM sat at touch on the bid and 1 MM sat at touch on the offer..touch is the price currently quoted on L2.

The 2k is the order size

I've been using L2 for years and to be frank, it can sometimes be a hindrance in the sense that it encourages over-trading as you're almost compelled to trade and catch price momentum

My advice. buy shares in well researched, undervalued companies and let the price take care of itself assuming of course you've bought the right stock

You can find L2 info on Google search should be feel inclined to immerse yourself in it. It's worth knowing about it but don't let it dictate your investments

Why would it take so long to award a patent? In this case almost 5yrs+

I wonder if this patent award is related to current contracts? legal certainty etc?

Political activism of all kinds represent a threat to representative democracy. is LTG regulated? Is LTG exposed to legal challenges? Is LTG exposed to criminal sanctions? Why??? Why are they allowed to say what the fook they want while everyone else is held to a higher standard of behaviour? It is same in the UK. Political activists acting like thugs and imposing their views by influencing laws. This isn't lobbying in the normal sense, it is aggressive, sinister para-political activity

Read some of the 'Public submissions' on the Santos EMP. What a pile of horse-dung. Some of these people live in a parallel universe. They certainly don't live in the real world. There's nothing innately wrong about demanding responsible corporate behaviour. No one wants to see pollution and destruction of wildlife, habitat etc but some people are utterly indoctrinated and refuse to accept flexibility.

You cannot indulge them nor argue with them. They are beyond help. You simply tell them to F-off
