If the directors won't speak to you, GermanGrim, perhaps the regulators will? Perhaps they could bring some influence to bear in squeezing some sort of statement from the company? Might be worth a try? Or perhaps the directors have just simply walked away and are preparing to just let this company take its natural course into insolvency? Does look that way to everyone I do have to say. Cannot be long now before the lights have to be switched off for the very last time.

Well, having read through several pages of the latest postings all I have to say is, and you can like it or not, that Mike31 has not "interpreted" the facts to suit his (alleged) own agenda but simply stated the facts flat on. Facts are facts! And if the majority of you on here cannot accept simple, plain facts then you should not be investing. This company is just like any other company that drills speculative holes in the ground...whether that be for copper, gold, oil or gas. You are investing in something that "HOPES" to hit paydirt -- but cannot possibly guarantee it despite all manner of advanced technology and historical records. In other words: anyone one investing here is "HOPING" that Block hits the bullseye...and it is as simple as that.

My God, mick...that is tempting fate somewhat. :) If Mr Block does come back for another peck at IQE we will be able to buy these shares for thirty odd pence a piece...not sure if thats a bad or good thing. Lol.

The short answer, 10baggerT, is -- NO! Admittedly this company is one of the better managed companies on the AIM market. It is "cash rich" and has not, I am led to believe, taken on any (other?) debt in several years...from this point of view a decent company. However, and there is always a "however", it does not make a profit...obviously at some point, and soon, this will have to change. Let us most fervently hope so! Graphene is an extraordinary material (as we are all aware) but in truth these little companies are trying to exploit something that, in the minds of many investors, still belongs in the lab -- The classic example of the cart before the horse it would seem. For example companies like Haydale and VRS...lots of collabs and very small quantity orders (usually for testing) but no real revenue generated. One company that might be worth looking at is Directa Plus (I am invested here)...trouble is the current share price might be a bit steep, a downwards correction might be due in the immediate future; well worth keeping an eye on though. Well, well, well...and once again I might add. And to think I was so brutally savaged on this board by so many investors when I argued that this s.p was in imminent danger of a downward correction. I can assume then that nobody is laughing now? I was going to top up gone last Friday afternoon...but do you know what? I am not going to bother -- not even at these prices! Until this company (just like numerous other AIM listed companies) starts playing with a straight bat and being more forthright with the truth I am not topping up unless there is either genuine, positive news (regardless of the fact that I would have to pay more) or the s.p drops back to 5 or 6 pence a share -- and there is every chance of that!!

1obaggerT, the fall in share price can be directly linked to the last RNS: "issue of share options to directors" (2p each). The s.p had been doing quite well beforehand, previously it had fallen sharply to languish in the mid twenties for some time, and was gaining momentum...until that is of course the curse of the AIM struck again -- out and out greed!! It is always the same on this "unregulated" market: lots of great ideas systematically pulled apart and the revenue bled from them until there is nothing left. Like feeding donkeys strawberries!! One day the directors of these little companies will realize one thing: if they are truly genuine and wish to be successful they will need to put their aspirations of wealth to one side until the company is cash rich and generating plenty of orders -- AND BL**DY WELL LEAD BY EXAMPLE!!!!!

Alas, mydog, I wish I could...truth is I need some guidance myself. Your opening comments regarding your three years of being involved with IQE almost perfectly mirrors my three years of involvement; but, as I said previously, I originally bought in because I genuinely wanted to believe in IQE and what they offered...just not that convinced anymore in all honesty. And thats a real shame!!

The thing about IQE, Woodlaker, is that for years now the only way to make any money from it is to trade it...as I have done so on several occasions. Most disappointing though: I did'nt buy into IQE to trade it, I originally bought in because I wanted to believe in what I thought could be the future! One day soon perhaps...who knows? Not me.

"I dont think you could accomplish this level of uselessness if you tried". Ha, ha, haaa -- oh, Lord!!!! Funniest thing I have read in an age; put a huge grin on my face, Gunthorpe...at least there is something to laugh about amid all the self-inflicted carnage. By the way something caught my eye before: 26/7/2019 a buy at approx 1.54 pence for 1 264 000 shares. What is that all about?

You make very valid points regarding any sort of investing, Fruitster...fair play to you. I have decided to take temporary leave of this forum for a moth or two...see how it all pans out in the forth coming weeks. Good luck to you and all the other investors! Here our my thoughts regarding the current s.p, Fruitster: yes, regarding any reasonable metrics, Royal Mail shares look as "cheap as chips"...but not when you take the threat of possible strike action into account. I have warned about this dangerous factor many times, here, on this site; I would think long and hard about buying these shares at this moment in time. The CWU is not joking when they announce their great alarm and partial rejection of the company's latest business plans; I consider balloting for strike action is now almost inevitable...and I would expect this to become very public around about early October. Regarding that present share price? In my opinion: now carries a high risk for a big downside.

You are so very wrong on this one, RoyAIMail. The national average for sickness absence in the UK is 5%...in the Royal Mail it runs at 10%. Thats right -- twice the national average!! I personally am aware of two posties who between them did not even manage to attend for two years out of four!! You think I lie? No...it is the absolute truth. The latest video (yesterday) shows Terry Pullinger mentioning all this: "I have been in air-conditioned offices, alongside the Thames, with senior executives telling me the company cannot afford this any longer". Or words to that effect. Really, Terry? Well, well, well! What a nasty, confused senior executive he must be. Lord! You just could not make it up. And that is just the point -- its all bl**dy well true!!!!

Lets get it all done and dusted here and now, pick up the pieces...and then rebuild whats left of it. At the very end, after it is all over, RMG, albeit very much reduced from where it is today, will still be standing; I am not sure you might be able to say that of the CWU when finally it is all over. Just as the Royal mail would be greatly diminished -- so would the CWU's membership!!

Yes, Isleworth Spy, I am still a member of the CWU. No, I do not work for RMG. Yes, I have witnessed managers using bullying tactics at RMG whilst formerly working for Angard; and myself been an unjustified, shameful target for it. Yes, I would support a CWU strike for genuine, sincere concerns...and in many instances could understand many of the posties frustrations. No, I would not agree with all the demands of the CWU. Yes, I would have to agree with senior managers when they say that a lot of CWU posties are lazy and need their ars*s kicking...plus that shameful and deplorable sick record that needs sorting out ASAP! Oh...and one other thing: It is my opinion a strike is now looking more and more likely with every passing hour. If it it does happen Dave Ward and Terry Pullinger might preside over the most terrible and protracted dispute which could cost the Royal Mail far more than it can afford to lose. The Royal Mail may never well be the same again. But the real tragedy of all this? Not only would hard working, loyal, private investors (like myself for instance) lose out, the amount of lost business going straight into the hands of Royal Mails fiercest competitors would ensure thousands of posties would lose their jobs: unpaid mortgages, broken marriages, real hardships...the list is endless. It is plain madness, Isleworth Spy, and you should full well know it. To sum it all up: M.A.D. Mutually Assured Destruction!!!
