Depends what 'in negotiation' stage they are at Bilbo and if these orders are still in competition or accepted and being fine tuned for contract award. Announcing third factory with completion date suggests they have a pretty good knowledge of orders likely to be coming our way.

Excellent point Prof and another good reason for investors to buy ITM for the long term and inheritance benefits. Assuming the relief remains that would be my main IHT avoidance strategy over other options like trusts etc. Far more flexible. Octopus etc also worth a look. Given IHT at 40% it is a no brainer.

Doli if you have a decent chunk in ITM the only thing you will need to worry about is spending enough of the profits to avoid inheritance tax.

Science fiction is turning into science fact as we leave the filthy fossil fuel's legacy behind us and enjoy the rewards of being on the bandwagon ahead of the crowd.
