If we can rise a tad above this level and stay there over the next fortnight, 400p should represent a decent 'floor' for the sp as the 2021 Y/E results are RNS'd. I'm no chartist but, assuming the figures impress and, more importantly, please on the divd / cash accruals fronts with a punchy forecast for this year, the sp should move usefully higher from this level.

Obviously, if there's finally a decision to migrate onto the main mkt, too (with everything going for us right now) where much wider appreciation of our appeal will be afforded, then all the more so - not long to wait... sasa.

Yep - me, too, NewK re: holding Chariot. Lost a packet first time around a few years back but have recently gone back in again on Chariot mk 2 which seems a lot more enticing now, having something very substantial under their belt at last - sasa.

Hi NewK - moving into Morocco to widen their geographical spread? Are you thinking of Chariot where they have a huge gas find on their plate to exploit, as per today's RNS? A pretty wretched indictment on the mismanagement of the outgoing Directors and one can only hope that the new BoD can deliver on their intentions to turn this around. Assuming the latest fund raise is secured, the road to get this back on track is going to be a slow process, seemingly, with the sp reflecting that for quite some time.

However, as Buffet intones - "It's better to have good management presiding over a poor asset than bad management presiding over a good one" - let's hope the latter's behind us at last! - sasa.

Hi Flabby - I agree the Y/E figs. are not the real catalyst here being historic (apart from the divd declaration, possibly) but the 2022 forecast is what interests me, given what's now in prospect on several fronts and assuming no disappointments we're unaware of, of course... sasa.

Yep, TDT, it wasn't so long ago that we were all getting excited about $6 per lb and being able to hold that level; how things have so radically changed.

Hopefully, the 'talks' are continuing in the absence of any RNS from RY & Co and if any forthcoming offer level is announced (subject to shareholder approval) today's conditions should have some bearing on that, surely, although with Amur, you never know what's going on or where we are with things... sasa.

Hi Dartron - "it's never wrong to take a profit", as they say, especially a good one like most of the LTHs invariably have with Serica now.

But that's the easy bit - where does one reinvest the proceeds to find such comparable stats, even now, with compelling FCF projections / no debts / resilience etc., versus the high level of mkts generally?

I've not found a decent alternative or two yet for when that time comes, I have to say, other than a defensive Investment Trust specialising in commodities and some pms. Dull but defensive, which is something, I guess - sasa.
