Phase II of a drug trial determines whether drug can have ANY efficacy : at this point the drug is not presumed to have any therapeutic effect.

Phase III determines a drugs therapeutic effect.

Some people were expecting Phase III results from a Phase II trial.

The last update was that they couldn't get up and running because trial treatments are dominated by those included in the Recovery programme.

However, that was said when there were only a few hundred hospitalised with Covid. There are now 15000 and as we only need to try it out on 90....we can only hope that something is going on somewhere with it.
The drug ****tail that Trump used is on the Recovery trial but that has been suspended in the US as dangerous for serious cases. For less severe cases it is not much use as you need to go on a drip and be admitted.

No it will not invariably rise. Listen to yourself. I bought more before the March capital raise and saw it drop to 25p in lockdown. Then bought more throughout this period.
You need balls of steel for this one and be prepared to lose whatever you put in.
Anyone who thinks Nasdaq is the answer take a look at the Verona Pharma share price chart over 5 years. They listed on Nasdaq in 2017.

The RNS for the raise states that the money is to be spread across the range of 4D programmes, which is promising.
There is even a mention of reviving Thetanix for paediatric crohns disease.
