Neither LFTs nor PCR can determine what variant is involved. That is a matter of genomic sequencing which is done separately by Illumina

My point is that there is a lot of flapping about on here as to whether the tests detect Delta but these concerns are not expressed anywhere else

Tall Paul, there were 875000 lfts done on Sunday out of just over a million and 10000 cases detected so I think the Innova LFTs are detecting Delta as this is now 99% of all cases.
