99% of the cases in the UK are Delta and every day a significant proportion of them are being detected by the Innova tests used in schools etc

There are no concerns anywhere that current LFTs don't detect Delta as they do other mutations.

Can you provide a single piece of evidence that shows concerns that lfts don't detect the Delta variant?

Also Avacta does not need samples from PHE to confirm it detects Delta variant.

They did not need them when they confirmed that it detects Kent and SA variants.

Once you have the genome of the mutations you can do the analysis in the lab.
