So you are saying the statement in the RNS I quoted has the same meaning as the paper?

One seems bullish, the other seems very cautious.

The February RNS says this about Treg induction.

"Data on pharmacokinetics of nasally administered Foralumab, immunological biomarkers, stimulation of Tregs and anti-drug antibody ("ADA") is expected to be reported in a few weeks."

The article states
" Although we hypothesize that the effect of nasal Foralumab in COVID-19 patients is related to the induction of Tregs, Treg function was not measured in the current study."

So how can they present data on something that wasn't measured.

The reduction of lung inflammation was better than the control only in the Foralumab/Dexmethasone group. So to what extent did Foralumab contribute as the lung inflammation reduction could have just been the Dexmethasone?

I really screwed up getting into this company but a useful lesson for the future, to be much more sceptical.

Still not a very clean trial

"Drug use during the study: Twenty-three patients (58.9%) received azithromycin prescribed their physicians. Two patients took the anti-helminth drug ivermectin and 5 patients took the drug acetylcysteine. At the 13day follow-up visit, 5 patients in control group reported taking up to 5 days of off label steroids during the study."

" As this was an open label exploratory clinical study, it was not specifically powered for statistical analysis and the major limitations of the study are its small size and the over the counter use of corticosteroids."

Mate they allowed the patients to use corticosteroids from the chemist while on the trial.

And the point I made is that 4D has or had a relationship with the scientists that produced that particular research being discussed
