If you are going to invest in a biotech you can't just set aside the science. It is all about the science and whether it will be good enough to get a drug approved.

I think Avacta is a very different story. They have Affimers and the potential is huge.

It's a disruptive technology that could turn over the whole antibody market.

In the short term it's a direct listing so without any support they will have to set a price to open with and it could tank with no support.

More fundamentally they have untested drugs with no ongoing trials. They were supposed to start in Q2 but have been delayed because the FDA don't trust the safety profile of anti CD3 drugs like Foralumab. Teplizumab has just failed its approval. So Tils were sent back to the lab to get more long term safety data in mice.

I also cringe at the way they have been discussing the individual expanded access program for compassionate use in one MS patient as if it was a trial.

Investing in these companies is like building a house. You have to get the foundations right. I have pulled 4D to pieces many times and keep finding solid concrete.

There are so many companies out there. Why would I invest here where there are no trials run since the company raised $57m last year to fund trials.

I prefer 4D (3 trials in cancer and 1 in asthma as we speak. Results due in the next few weeks on 2 of them.)
Or Angle - pending FDA approval of their Parsortix device which should be a formality.

The company here obfuscate and twist the facts about what they do.

On the face of it JH going for a full listing on Nasdaq rather than just delisting and sticking with the ADRs does seem a better way to treat UK investors with ISAs. Several UK companies have delisted leaving only ADRs and so investors with ISA holdings have had to move to trading account.

You specifically said you were in pharma. Implying that you see something special in what Tils are trying to develop.

Are all the rampers just being good Samaritans as well, trying to lead us all to the promised land?

Also I like to invest long term in companies where the SP growth prospects are significantly higher than the small spike that KS or GC might be able to deliver.

They can't just produce trial results out of thin air and they also can't hold back market sensitive info.

I am looking to warn people
Look at this statement from the website about Foralumab. It is simply false.

"Foralumab mAb
Foralumab is a fully human anti-CD3 monoclonal antibody (mAb) for the treatment of Crohn’ s and neurodegenerative diseases. We have recently completed two Phase 1 clinical trials: one for progressive MS indication with nasal administration and the other for Crohn’s disease indication, with enteric coated capsules administered orally. Foralumab has demonstrated ability to activate regulatory T cells that systemically circulate to elicit targeted immunomodulation providing therapeutic benefit to patients. "

They have not run Phase 1 trials of Foralumab in MS or Crohn’s. All they did was run a trial in healthy volunteers and they have not released the results publicly for peer review.

The only evidence of any T-cell regulation was from a small exploratory Covid study conducted in Brazil where there was a complete absence of controls over the patients with some taking Ivermectin and corticosteroids from the local chemists while on the trial.

Why have you bought in? What do you think is special about Tils?

I was big enough to admit having made a terrible mistake investing here and took the loss.

Shame others feel the need to double down on the delusion that Tils will deliver anything before 2030

I am happy leaving money for 3-5 years in 4D as they have actually been doing stuff with investors money. You know like running drug trials (3 cancer trials ongoing right now), forming partnerships with the likes of Merck and Pfizer, articles in Nature and the like about their research. Results due in next few weeks for oncology and asthma.

I wouldn't be happy being in Tils for 5 minutes
