Results to be announced Tuesday 26th February, so now with the sp at these prices you should be buying, as you may never see the sp this low again (hopefully), my opinion only, although I know there is a lot of other investors with the same opinion.

A quick 20% !! is that gain or loss ???. If you read the RNS then still very much uncertainty here. Parts of it make me think - yes that sounds good but its only a maybe in 6 months time. I don't think there is any major progress here at the moment, but the new board seem to be putting the wrongs back to rights, and stopping the rot that was getting bigger. Unfortunately I think it is going to take some time. I'm in for the long term as a lot of dosh to recover on this one.

Yes I agree rustyroo, and we don't want to be rude do we. I was scanning some documents into the computer when the downward "spike" happened so missed the bottom, when I came back on-line they were on their way up, but couldn't resist another 10k just under 73p. Still have funds for some more should mm's decide to bring them back down again, but with all the news that has been released recently, not only here, but on RCG's own web site, then I cannot honestly see how mm's can justify such a low sp such as this. Ultimately, the mm's are helping us into a nice profit as I don't intend selling all my holding even after the results are released. This company is going places, the bigger profits may be in years to come I think.

Thought the "January Sales" had finished, but if these keep on going like this, then the end of today I should be collecting some more at these Bargain Prices.

Well chan did you have another top-up ? Although I didn't pay over the asking price earlier this afternoon, then I did get in for 10000 at 74.96p just before the close although the trade is not showing, but that is not unusual on this share I noticed before. Thanks for the tip re CHLD, but doing reserch on an article I read about a mining company that may have found one of the biggest gold strikes in Columbia at their "Quintana" mine, which may be announced by the Columbian government later, then I have found a miner which has a mine there and bought 250000 of their shares. Would post the company here, but don't want people to buy, and then shout at me for giving duff leads if nothing comes of it. You know my mobile, so you can text me if you like.

Hi Chan, just copied the following from the trading statement of 11th December. "The Group expects to release its full year audited numbers on or before the final week of February 2008." I have tried topping up with another 10k and also 7.5k of these and my broker is only offering them at above the asking price !!!.

Hi REDSOX, I have been watching this keep going south for some time now, and also looking to get back in to try and recover big losses eventually, but I think it is going to be a very long wait. There were a lot of "big Hitters" in here once, so think they also want to recover initial investment. Lets hope the new board live up to their reputation of being able to turn companies around. This one share represents over 50% of the loss sitting on my portfolio.

Will be interesting to see what happens here today with the sp, as on the ASX, today this share rose by the equivalent of 8 pence, and the sp in Aus is the equivalent of 64.5p !! Both figures are taken using the tourist exchange rate.

Let's hope these will recover o.k. As you say the quarterly update should be released next week, and gold has dropped quite a bit recently, but will recover again according to "all those in the know". Personally I am holding and waiting for the recovery. Other small gold miners are also down, and its not just Medusa. If you sell then you have made a loss - do you know what you may buy from the proceeds will not go south?? I think most of the downside has been taken here already, and thats my opinion only

RNS out today shows more good news for Medusa. Drilling has found more high grade deposits, and existing resources are higher than originally anticipated.

Thanks for that Crest - another 4 weeks before I'm off yet though, need to make some spending money first, but the way the Dow seems to keep pulling the FTSE down, might have to be a beach bum for the 15 days - still the beer is cheap out there.

Hi Crest, nothing exciting about RCG I'm afraid, and nothing to do with RCG, but just felt that what I had for Chan didn't ought to get posted here. Lets hope we have some good news soon though. If, as RCG say about their intentions to anounce their latest results in Feb, then I am away in the Far East on holiday, so will have to wait until I get back as "er indoors" won't want me seeking a computer to check the notices etc.

Hi Shavey, As you see from my previous post that I have brought this up recently. I e-mailed MML last night and they say they have no control over how ASX or AIM market the price of their shares, and basically the only difference should be caused by the exchange rate, "arbitrage" as they call it. Basically you can change your £ into $Aus, and buy the shares on ASX and benefit from the lower sp, i.e. get more shares for your original £. Hope this explains, but unfortunately the sp on the 2 markets is beyond their control. mm's, who can understand them !!!

Chan, I do know that most of the employeee that bought into the shares, (and there are many) are all locked into them for some time. I was told by one of the H/L consultants, but I have forgotten the time scale, but it is for sopme time yet. Changing the subject, I have just looked at MML and as they were 60-61 thought I would place an order, so have just been offered them at 58.50p, nedless to say I thought I would have another 10k again, this is twice that this has happened lately. Hope there is not some bad news on the way !!!

Hi Chan, yes agree with you on that the "bargains" will probably have to wait to mature, just like putting seeds in the garden, and then waiting for them to grow over then next 3-6 months. Did buy some TSCO on Monday, sold them Tuesday with only £68-52p profit, but if held them until today Wednesday, then it would now be an £814-50p LOSS. (Gut Feeling again). Just got out of HOC 2 days befor they dropped £1-00, would have lost £5000 if I still held them, but as my posts said, the share was not performing in line with current gold / siver movements, and my get feeling was to sell at a profit and sit back and watch. I think HL. is one that fits the bill of "seeds in the garden"

Hi Crest, well I don't think all the financial tools and "poor / good judgements" seem to be working at the moment. It's more like "hit & miss" in a lot of trades. The one's that you think are iffy seem to hold up, and then one of your sound stocks seem to head south. The only way to not loose money is to have it in cash, but then you won't be able to gain either. I have approx 40% of my portfolio in cash waiting for the "bargin", but then this does not always work. Gut reaction has saved me a few losses recently, but unfortunately mm's don't work on my wave band. Good Luck through this volitile time.

Agree with you Chan, this is a good stock, but like anything "financial" at the moment, then mm's are loving to knock it. Don't hold any myself at the present, got out when they were 208. Other stock I am holding is holding up quite well all but 1 or 2, so just like to make a few more gains now to get the "feel good factor" back again
