The company continues to go from strength to strength with many new opportunities opening up all the time. A latest news report states "RCG’s software employed in Acer Notebook Computers" RCG Holdings Limited (AIM : RCG), a leading global provider of integrated biometric and RFID security solutions, is pleased to announce that it has entered into a collaboration with Acer Sales and Service Sdn Bhd (Malaysia), one of the leading corporations in the global PC market. If you read the news report in full, it just confirms what a superb company this is. Any gueses where this company will be in 2 years time !!

Good to see the company has responded so quickly. I sent an e-mail to them in Hong Kong regarding the falling sp and asked if they could reassure the small shareholders that all was still well. The response was the RNS 45 minutes after I sent the e-mail. Well Done RCG.

Hi moneyman, did you get in heavy at 65p (re your post of 28th Feb). I must say I didn't think it would fall lower than 65p, Must say though, I couldn't resist another 10k late this afternoon at 55.20p. Do you honestly think this can go as low as 40p, I don't but the way the market is hammering RCG right now then it wouldn't surprise me, and should it hit 40p I would expect every man and his dog to be buying.

Be careful, City Equities have offered me more than 10 companies in the last 6 months and every one has failed to gain, and all shares have lost money, some up to 60%. Now surley City Equities with all their research people should have at least got one or two that increased in sp, even in the market conditions we have been experiancing in the last 6 months !!

As said in the previous post, I,m not in this at the moment, but will wait until we have a stable period of upward movement, even if it means paying a higher sp. I want to turn my £1300 loss into a gain, and not a bigger loss. As you have said - given the performance of this share over the last 6 months, then I'm sitting on the fence for a while.

Interesting to see RCG spending money buying back shares, after cutting the dividend to shareholders as they say this will give them the funds for aquisitions now that a lot of companies sp are low due to current stock market conditions, not that 62677 shares would have made much of a dent in what they have saved on the dividend to the loyal shareholder. !!!

I have also been watching this share, and quite like it, but not in it at the moment. I have held this share over the last 12 months several times, but each time I think that we are on the up, then down she goes. Currently have made a loss of £1300 on this but looking to rectify this, and with past performance in mind, I think I will sit and watch for a little longer even though it looks as though things may have turned around for the better. When I had tried to talk to the company in the past, they did not seem to be "Investor Friendly", and got the cold shoulder in no uncertain terms

must be something to do with what trader(s) the broker deals with, and just how many shares they have on their books, but you would assume that after so many "sells" since the results have been anounced, then the traders would be quite flush with RCG at the moment. Looks as though I might experiance the same problem with another broker then, not just with the RCG shares I mean, but in general. Depends on the broker on the day by the looks of it, so could be jumping out of the pan into the fire, so maybe better hang on !!

Thanks for that - look as though I had better enquire about opening an account via TDW, as I have noticed I have been paying more than the asking price on several trades in the past, and not just RCG.

Well, what does level 2 look like - I can't get my broker to sell any at the "buy" price, as he keeps asking up to 1p above.

Not long to wait now if your getting in heavy at 65p, must be the strong winds out there shaking the tree today !!!. I expect we shall see this below your 65p re-entry level before to much longer. I love a bargain, even if it means waiting a couple of years to collect.

No set date for the recociliation of the court case re the share issue, only that RCG have said it is likely to be a drawn out issue due to the size of the late Madam Wang's estate. This could be a considerable time, so don't think there is any worry about a get rich quick investment here. There is rumour that RCG have found someone suitable with "deep pockets" for the shares in question , but as I have said it's only rumour. There is no doubt RCG is a quality company, but due to the uncertainty of the reconciliation of the court case, then be prepared for a wait. Shares are likely to see more downside with the present investment climate, albeit not justified in a lot of investors views, but here will be a chance to pick up a real bargain if bought on the dips.

Hey chan, now I know RCG are not in the medical research field, but ever thought what the outcome would be if RCG happen to find a cure for first Cancer, and then second HIV aids. The way the market has attacked RCG, I would think they would mark the sp on the first account down to 48p, and on the second account mark the sp further down to 25p !!

Hi chan, we know RCG are going from strenght to strengh, enhancing their reputation week by week. When you see the jump in sp of other companies that have made profits that come nowhere near that of RCG, then it must definitly be the court case only that is keeping the sp down at this ridiculous price for such a quality company. You would have thought the sp had all the downside of the court case already built in and the increase in profit / growth would have lifted the sp accordingly. I still have a healthy shareholding here, and I,m sure if the mm's keep bringing the sp down, then my volume of shares will be increasing as time goes by. Still have a healthy cash balance to purchase more than I currently own if the mm's do mark down the price even more.

This share is now less than 50% of the price it was this time 12 months ago. It features in a list of the most oversold shares, and some of the analysts are recommending buying for the medium term based on it being oversold. Terminal 5 at Heathrow opens 27th March, which should help the sp here. Have recently flown B.A. myself "long haul", and the overall service was no better or worse than many of the other "long haul" carriers I fly. This share is one to watch in my opinion.

I view this as a very good long term investment. The industry RCG is in has good growth prospects for years to come. RCG is growing year by year, not only financially but globally. It's reputation is growing as a provider of some of the best products in the industry. So when the court case gets resolved, I expect the sp to double. - If I was offered a bar of gold as an investment and told it would double its value in 2 / 3 years then I would be buying it. Well, I think this will be the same here - so RCG is my GOLDEN opertunity to double my money in the next 2 / 3 years, or even before if all goes well. My opinion only.

Hi Chan, thanks for that, and I agree we will all be rewarded if we hang in there, and I certainly am. Have taken just over £9k profit on these in the last 6 months and still have a nice holding that will be waiting for the "Big Day"

Hi guys, just back from holiday and found it difficult to believe what I saw here, just as everybody else has. Now I have had time to read through the results, I find the only concern I have is the part about the disputed share ownership. Quote "We expect the determination of the ownership claim for Madam Nina Wang's estate,and therefore the RCG shares held by Veron International Limited, to be a lengthy process before a final resolution is made. As previously announced,Madam Wang was not involved in the Board or management of RCG at any time in the past." I have done the same as ML and reduced my holding, but taken profit on all I sold, so not incuring any loss. Will certainly be buying back more on any further drops, as this is one share I will not be without.
